I have been a fan, and using products from Detail Garage (Chemical Guys) for a long time. I recently bought their Ceramic treatment and used it on my Raptor and Boss302. It is great a product. I suggest purchasing the sealant, final spray detailer and a quality soap they suggest. About $120. and an afternoon should do it. Color correction on a new vehicle is a dealer issue.

Professional Ceramic coating job will run around 800 on a larger vehicle if there is any paint correction to do first.
I just called a local company that does this... $1150!

It resists abrasion quite well and can be "healed" through targeted application of heat (heat gun) with it's self-leveling properties.

Ceramic coatings will provide the same protection to abrasion that wax will (so little as to be considered essentially zero). Now, if you strategically duct tape ceramic tiles to the outside of your car and are lucky enough for branches to hit only on those ceramic tiles, then you have the ultimate protection!
Thanks for not letting me down. I'd been considering going the duct tape and ceramic tiles route myself.

Does covering the whole vehicle in diamond plate count? :)

1 - a good wash
2 - chemical decontamination
3 - clay
4 - paint correction
5 - PPF
6 - if not PPF then you want to seal the paint asap
Curious how does paint correction work

This is what I'm worried about. It's nice to prevent those rock chips on the front, but I just haven't heard enough about these wraps' durability to know how they're going to hold up to this kind of abuse. It's pretty expensive to keep redoing panels.
I think you have to look at PPF as a really sturdy sacrificial layer being millimeters thick while a ceramic coat is in the single digits microns thickness range and wax in the 15-20 nanometers thickness range. What ever damage is done to the sacrificial layer Is not being done to your paint unless it completely penetrates it. In the case of PPF its pretty damn tough.

My experience: I left my 2 series BMW at the dealer for a basic service. The car has Xpel Ultimate on the whole front clip including the bumper. Once the service was complete, the car was moved to the parking lot. A truck delivering vehicles swiped the bumpers of my car and a few others. The Xpel was ground down to nothing at the spot where the contact was made, but the paint underneath went undamaged.

Products like Xpel and SunTek offer 10 year warranties and do self-heal to some degree. You just have to ask yourself if the protection you get is worth the cost, is it cheaper than a paint job, or do not care enough if the vehicle is damaged?

OBTW, here is a link to the Xpel Pre-Cut kits to give you an idea of cost without labor. Xpel Pre-Cut Kits. Of course the Bronco is not there yet, but you can look at say an Explorer to get an idea of the kind of kits they offer and cost.

Generally, it's just polishing up the surface... removing any hairline scratches and swirl marks. Though, I suppose in some contexts, it could, or would include other paint touch-ups/repairs.

What do you use to remove chemical contamination?

it is a good idea to paint correct your vehicle 1st before you apply PPF.

PPF is expensive I would say 2k to start (without ceramic coating). The great thing about the Bronco is you really don't have to worry about the hard top unless you want to care for that also.
Why would you Polish a brand new paint job before you wrapped it??

I'm guessing they're referring mostly to any waxes or oils that are on the paint. So... soap :)

Or perhaps a slightly stronger solvent like a paint prep spray

because a factory paint job has defects from the factory ... even on a new car.

but on a brand new car you def want to use the least abrasive polish.

Yes, this I know... Ive done my share of polishing and paint correction on my vehicles. But before you wrap it?? Waste of time.
