Looks great! For some reason I want to hate the JCR safari bar, but I love it. Does that make sense? I’m thinking of getting it for my Bronco but I still can’t figure out if I love it or hate it yet.. also I’m not a big light bar guy but those KC’s looking fitting on top of the windshield.

Nice rig. Do you have your KC’s curved or straight? Also, where’d you get the matching lite covers?

They are mostly straight with a slight curve. A lot of people on the forum put a larger curve, on benefit being noted is less wind noise. However even with mine straighter, there really wasn’t any added wind noise when driving on the hw, I was pretty surprised. I like the mounts, nice and sturdy, but I’m interested to see KC’s official mount. These mount a bit high, above the windshield frame. it’s likely I won’t be able to park in the garage after the lift and 37’s and the kc light bar. I’m hopeful that like the wrangler mount, the kc mount will position them a bit lower.

Brian: I assume you love Panda? I am planning on getting the same KC bar put on mine - but still debating a couple things. One - who will install. Did you buy any special bracket? How ”clean” is the install? Any idea what you paid JUST on the lights? Thanks!

Thanks for the message. I have taken a number of vehicles in the past to panda, they have always had the most competitive rates locally, and their work is in fact very clean. I had them do a significant amount of work to my Supra before I bought the bronco and it turned out great. As far as installs, I have taken Jeeps to axle boy in the past but they are very expensive and are not as personable. As far as the cost, it varies, you can get the 50” light bar on Amazon,

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FLW58YB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_NVYPBS8TKS5C58QM3EZJ

If you find a great price on the light bar, there is a good chance that panda will match the price. (This is what I did, around 1700-1800)
I mentioned in my original post what brackets I used. I ordered from that company directly. It’s a great mount, but the lights are mounted a bit high for my taste, I’m hoping that the kc light mount (when it is released) will mount them a bit lower like they do on the wrangler set up. When my lift is installed, the current setup will likely not fit into my garage.

-race red Vinyl over white portions of FE decals (update: I do not suggest this as the vinyl on vinyl does not adhere well, I’ll be removing the red for the time being unfortunately)
can a vinyl shop duplicate the FE side decals in the color you want (red over black)? great build btw!

Definitely, or at least the exact shapes and colors, but the OE decals have a rough textured finish for the black and reflective white for the white parts…I think it would be hard for them to match it 100%. The only reason why I’d keep them at all is because it’s an FE and you can’t get replacement OEM decals, at least not yet. My preference would be to remove them completely really. The FE badge came off easily and can be put back on but these wouldn’t come off clean. Not sure if I should go ahead and remove them or not
