Removed Tow Package

Hi everyone,
I am a first day order holder of a Wildtrak and still do not have a VIN. I just opted out of the trailer tow package. What do you guys think the odds are I see one by end of year?

I dropped the tow package about three weeks ago and am scheduled for a 3/01 build. Vin and window sticker received. I have a black Diamond order with just the mid package, no squatch.

I dropped tow about 4 months ago, nothing yet.

Unfortunately, trailer tow is only one of the constraints. Then there's your dealer's allocation and where you stand in line. I'm tempted to drop the tow package as I only need the 4 pin connector for a small kayak trailer. But I also have the 2.7, hard top and Lux package so I'm guessing it won't make all the difference. I'm secretly hoping all you guys will drop the tow package so I can get it.

Me too! Except I didn’t order until January, so I don’t expect a build date anytime soon. It’s just reassuring to see an MIC BD getting built.

It may help, but it also depends on your other options. And, as stated dealer size, amount of orders, and allocations also impacts when we get a build date. This whole thing has became a circus without a ring master. But, good luck. I hope you get a build date soon.

It can’t hurt. I dropped tow on my two door BL, not because of the commodity restraint but because I only need a hitch for a cargo extension and bike rack. That being said, a month after I dropped tow, I was scheduled. I was already previewing when I dropped the 2.7 . I do not a WS but I do have a VIN.

I dropped tow package and Mic top a couple of weeks ago . I was previewing last week. 99ed my order when Golden Ticket came. I was an early 7 1/4 reservation

As others have said, there are many factors at play.
FWIW though, my father-in-law was in a similar position; early reservation holder on a 2 door wild trak with tow. Dropped the tow two weeks ago and has a VIN and a build date.
Hopefully you get lucky too.
