Q. Will there be a white or silver grille/fender/hardtop options?
A. More to come closer to launch. Currently the grilles, fenders, and tops listed on the website are the only options. That may change.

any signs of a defroster grid or other arrangement for the rear window defroster?

Interesting that the winch (around 0:26) covers that rectangular panel we've all been wondering about. That would seem to support the idea that it does not contain the radar and all the critical sensors and radar are near the rear view mirror.

This model also did not have the forward facing camera. If that panel is part of say, adaptive cruise control, it might just not be optioned, so there's room for the winch without interfering.

Q. Can you explain the difference between modular and non-modular hardtops.
A. The non-modular top is a four piece top with removable top panels. The modular top is a six piece top with removable top panels as well as removable rear windows.

Great news removable rear windows ! My dog will love this ?

Definitely a necessary feature.

i can live without that one! as long as there's a GOAT mode which allows for lots of throttle travel for fine control, i'm good.

Videos show the hose for the washer, and two wires going to the rear glass... so maybe one for the wiper and once for defroster?

(There's also some horizontal lines you can make out on the glass... not sure if they are a defroster or not.)

Need some help here. Really want to stick with manual transmission. So if I build a manual badlands...then upgrade on my own to 35s. Does this mean I will be compromising my transmission?

Agreed. I’m sure this has been posted before, but would you need an additional lift kit on the stock badlands to put on 35s? Would that void warranty?

Q. Will the Velocity Blue be available for order with late delivery or a separate ordering scheme?
A. It will be available for order at launch. Delivery may be delayed.

This is the only question I wanted an answer to. The odds of me following through on my reservation just shot up a ton!

Q. Will there be a LED fog option with the modular steel bumper?
A. The modular bumpers do not come with specific lights. However, the modular bumper is made for aftermarket support. Ford has a close relationship with Rigid and they may have a solution.

Rigid is an excellent choice for this. Their products are top shelf. This gives me confidence that Ford's choices for accessory providers isn't just sweetheart deals or purely on name recognition.

That's what low range is for. You don't need a computer for that.

not 100% sure about the gear ratios to move to 35s that come with the badlands. but there won't be an compromise with the exception of the electronic features. trail turn thing, down hill decent (you could also use the crawler gear (or 1st) and the brake yourself) and there was another electronic feature that the manual loses out on too. can't remember it though.

10mm of lost wheel travel with Squatch. lol

I am going with snap height adjustment as a theory here. They get 20mm in extra height and reduce articulation 10mm?
