Looks like none of the above for me. I only like to drive manuals, and I don't want the four cylinder. The drivetrain options I want are packaged in two of the most expensive models with a lot of stuff I don't want.

It is Not going to be a 80% trail rig, if it was, I would be going with the manual and low ratio... since its a 20% trail rig, I will be happy to have the beast of the 2.7 and 10 spd auto,,,,,, As in the F150..... a tuned 2.7 can run the 1/4 mile in very low 13's some high 12's...... No Wrangler (at the moment) can run that down......

I have a tuned F150 3.5L and my Buddy has a 2.7....Mine runs 12.88 in the 1/4 and his runs 13.03... all tune nothing else but intake ... both are 2019's.

I have no worries in the world about the power in the 2.7 and will be adding a custom tune the minute they are available.

The custom tuners on the market are great and my buddies tuned 2.7 with 93 octane did 400.3HP and 414.7 ft tq. This in a Bronco will scream..... My 3.5L did 442 hp and 429.ft tq

The tuned Ranger with 2.4 did 339 hp and 304.5 ft tq ...... That is a beast

To be honest there is no big difference in power so any where 2.7 well go 2.3 can follow my only reason if i got the 2.7 is it may stay for a longer life and i think our dealer well not got the 2.3 (just guessing)

Nope. You're making the claim. The burden of proof is on you. If you're unable or unwilling to provide evidence to support your claim, then there is no reason to assume your claim has merit. Hitchens's razor.

Get the 2.3 Ecoboost Auto four door to save on some MPG. That is what I am doing.
If you buy the smaller motor and you are asking it to move the bigger 4 door Bronco, it is going to have to work harder and will be in the boost more often than the 2.7 will have to be. The 2.7 can move the same vehicle with much less effort. Do not be surprised if the 2.7 is equal to within 1-2 mpg of the 2.3l. You can quote me on that.

The 2.7, because I'm more mature now, and go by the old adage "there's no replacement for displacement." :)
It’s called boost..boost is the replacement for displacement. Please pay attention

Yeah but is it worth it before the warranty runs out?
If you modify it and it breaks, you’re paying for it whether in warranty period or not so might as well get it out of the way and have some fun! At least that’s been my theory with my last 2 Subarus!

So you think being in max boost all the time just to move your vehicle around town is a good idea?
You’re not in “max boost” all the time just because you‘re tuned.

2.3L because the MT is way more important to me than displacement. Just watch the vids of the 2.3MT walking up the trails like a boss with almost no wheelspin. Beast mode.
