255/80/17 Toyo AT3What size tires are you running on the stock Black Diamond wheels?
Welcome to the forum.Nice! I'm up in Ridgedale, Mo just across the line!!
Very nice report and ride. I think 80% of us would be more than happy to hit trails no more challenging than those, it shows you don't have to rock crawl to enjoy your Bronco.
Here is an essential solo tool.First rule of 4 wheeling solo is don't get stuck. Mostly it was a day for just feeling out the Bronco and checking out some new territory, but all of it was out of cell phone range with one vehicle. I learned long ago I don't like walking out. We did a little 4wheeling and got a decent crease in the tank skid, which was surprising for what little we did. Most of my 4 wheeling is solo, whether here in Arkansas or in the Rockies, and I tend to be conservative on where I go. Most of my trails don't have badges or people to help when you get in trouble. Rock crawling to me is more of social event when you don't mind getting beat by the terrain.
Northeast Arkansas here, we have an Arkansas Group here on 6G and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/733332404114122/?ref=share
We have talked about a group ride sometime possibly at Hot Springs.
The western end of the Buffalo River (America’s first National River) is about 70 miles east of Cove Creek Road as the crow flies, so it’s not surprising that the geological formations of the bluffs are similar. Those geological formations are a large part of what makes the Ozark National Forest so beautiful. Some of the pics remind me of the Buffalo river. I lived in Little Rock for 4 years in the early 90's.
Nice mountain goat. I hunt elk but have no desire to go where the mountain goats live.
Speaking of social events, I finally got my big air compressor wired up, and she’s alive! Come over when you get a chance, and we’ll crack a few beers and celebrate.Rock crawling to me is more of social event when you don't mind getting beat by the terrain.
Hmmm.... Where is this party? I'm in downtown F'ville.
