That is the correct bolt thread size. Good luck with the install. It is quite easy. The hardest part was using the sawzall on the new frame. I used a few of these saw blades and it cut through the metal quite well.

What is the purpose of those frame extensions that have to be cut off? Do they have a purpose / could I potentially need them sometime down the road?

New pics added to original post!
Looks great too. Did you end up using that flat narrow metal piece they provided? I didn't end up using as it didn't appear to be necessary or would fit. And did you end up having to use extra 8mmx30 bolts too?

I really have no idea. I haven't seen the 2.7 litre engine so not too sure if for that. Anyways, its just doing nothing so no harm in removing it.

Looks great. Can't wait to order and install on mine.

Did you end up needing the additional bolts @gmac71 mentioned?
I did! Thanks @gmac71 for the heads up! I give you a shout out in the video. Should be out this week.

Would love to see the over the top winch mount before I pull the trigger on the hidden mount or other option.
I found this in an RC video. I’m being patient and waiting to see who comes out with the best solution. I also like the DV8 FS-15 winch bumper, but I would prefer to stay with my stock bumper.

I like the look of this one. Pretty compact. It appears to account for the parking sensors and ACC. Just need to see how they handle the camera.

The 2.7 doesn't use them either. I'm starting to wonder if they have something to do with crash energy absorbsion expending energy from a front-end collision?

I don't remember who, but somebody theorized that they might just be mounting brackets used for assembly. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Does anybody know if the badlands 12,000lb winch will fit with this mount?

Yes sorry, I just posted an update up top. I took the video down for now as it will only be available next production run. Just figured this out this morning. I'll re-shoot some of the video and repost tonight.
This is looks like if you have a sasquatch 2.3L it will fit no problem?
