This would be nice for many trails in the PNW. And not needing a roof rack to attach to is awesome. Send it.
I agree, I bet they sell a bunch of these to us PNWers! I’m definitely in for a set.

I feel like this would pair up nicely with @TrailRax 's trail sight thingy they released earlier today

Cool idea. I have no need for it though, but I know many folks will. As long as the Starbucks drive-thru prunes their trees, I should be ok.
yeah, unfortunately, it is not a product for everyone. That is why we are testing the waters.

Not yet, these photos are from the beta test. We had to change a few things.

But basically, it will use the threaded stud under the accessory cover.

Thanks, I think the kit should have the ability to attach to both the stud or the roof rack if present.

Interested. Will it work with the factory roof rack?

What happens if the limb goes between the wire and windshield?

Cool although I've never understood the want for these anyways. Well I never plan on bushwacking enough that would necessitate these I guess. If there is an imposing branch in my way that will hit the windshield than it will also scrape against the rest of the vehicle. Might as well get out and cut it or have a buddy hold it back while you drive by.

That's how I feel anyways. 😳
One time the rustic lake campsite my son and I were planning on using on a forest service road in eastern Maine was taken, so we picked a more remote one on a river down another road. The road apparently hadn’t been used by vehicles other than snowmobiles for a few years, and limb risers would have made our progress much faster.

Anyway, I was going slow so as not to scratch the paint, and it started getting dark so we turned around and found a place to camp by the road that wasn’t as cool.

I talked to a guy the next day who said the site we were going to was pretty cool.

So yeah sometimes they come in handy.

Here is a little sneak peek of our patent-pending limb riser design! Features a rapid-release design....so you can open the hood!

Install is about 20mins. Quick-release is 5 seconds per side. 100% stainless steel. Made in the USA!

Price - $100 for the set
Date - TBD

We are posting this to gauge the market. The photo is our first prototype.

OP- Any progress on these?
Yes, we should have them for sale in about 2 weeks. We had to have special stainless steel M6 bolts made. So that is taking a while. We had to make thousands of them.

When it is ready will update our OP.
