More than I realize? I think you underestimate my trail experience.
Probably being as I don't even know you. I'll just say YMMV.

There is more to the squatch than just 35's. To me, if you plan to go to the 35's on your own you have money better spent getting the package from Ford. Better shocks, gears, front locker, higher clearance fenders and all under warranty with trans/engine/speedo calibrated for it.

Agreed.....if only that included a manual though. I might have to give up on the manual given this valid point.

Excited for the build and price to go live so I can choose between Black Diamond and Badlands.

My ā€œmustsā€: 4 door, 2.7 liter, Hose-able interior, minimum of 33ā€ tires preferably 35ā€™s, front and rear locker, hardtop, skid plates, ā€œheavy dutyā€ bumper
Would like but could skip if cost prohibitive: remote start, heated seats.
Iā€™m indifferent about the sway bar disconnect. Would rarely if ever use it.

So on BD or Badlands would need to add 2.7L/auto, hardtop, midpackage

BD would also need Sasquatch
Badlands +/-Sasquatch
Price of all this?????
Find out soon.

Iā€™m thinking BD with Squatch is going to be a better value for me and more in line with what we will be using it for, but ultimately the build tool will let us know.

So I want a white top. And looks like that wonā€™t be an option. So whatever hardtop I get I will be having it painted white.
They did such a good job with the look of the bronco matching the first generation 60ā€™s-70ā€™s.
Have to have a white hard top to stay true to the original look.

The Baja mode will be pretty close I think.

As a desert dweller who intentionally moved away from the snow I much prefer the terrain the Badlands name represents to a skiing reference lol
I look at it a bit differently then you. As I'm still stuck in the God forsaken North East. I look at the Black Diamond name and the Vehicle as its built for the frozen tundra and can handle the snow were i live. Its named after the most dangerous slopes. Its perfect for my area. Especially with the rubber and vinyl interior. Even the stock tires are good for my area.

I just noticed the BD doesnā€™t offer the painted black hard top! Damn
I love the looks of it..
Maybe moving up to the BL might be in my future...
I wish Ford would give all trims the option of the different style of hard tops...

We need the damn build and price. Itā€™d be interesting if ford kept track of how many different configurations were built, I bet it hits a million really quick once it goes live. Iā€™m going to build multiple options between big bend and badlands. Staying away from base and wildtrak.
