I recently purchased a portable QuickJack Model 7000TL to work on my Bronco.

I bought it during a special sale on 2/22/22 for 22% off -- thanks to @GToddC5 for the valuable heads-up! -- but was waiting for warmer weather to install it.

Installation day was today! 🛠

Below are a few photos, in case you’re curious about what it looks like.

1) All of the parts from the 3 main boxes unpacked…

5-Star rating! This portable lift system is awesome!!! To be honest, it’s everything I hoped for. Very easy to operate, fits the Bronco frame rails well, and provides plenty of room to work underneath. 👍

Note: It’s technically not recommended to add any rubber blocks above the Truck/SUV adapters, but I wanted to see if it could be done and still maintain stability in the upper safety lock position… that’s now been confirmed! However, from a practical standpoint, it’s actually a little too high to work underneath comfortably, because I can’t reach parts and fasteners underneath without extending my arms constantly, which is pretty fatiguing for more than just a few minutes at a time. Therefore, I’ll forego adding the rubber blocks when working underneath and just stick with the Truck/SUV adapters.

I hope some of you guys and gals find this information helpful. 🤙

:EDIT: — A link to the current QuickJack Set-up and Operation Manual can be found on the Downloads page in the Support section of the website. I cannot post it here as an attachment, because the file size is too large.

Looks like an awesome option. I've debated looking into one of those for my other cars as well, now I know it would work for all of them.

Have had mine for 3 years. Works on Ram, Chevy SS, Flex, and Bronco. Figure, I about have my payback complete with all the work I do on them,

Nice! I’ve had them bookmarked for months. Wish I caught onto that sale. Question - how far forward does it lurch the vehicle? Clearance was a concern for my tiny garage. I was thinking I’d more often than not - just roll them into the driveway and do the work there. But, then that limits me to work on the vehicle only when it’s nice out when I’d rather be on the trail or fishing. Haha.

One day my garage will get a reno and this won’t be a concern.

In the Set-up and Operation Manual, this is referred to as Radial Shift, and it can be anywhere from 11 to 15 inches.

Looking forward to it! Planning my first oil change soon (saw your tip for the Quaker State, thanks!) and it will be time to start exploring after break in.

I have a 6000ELX that I use on my Model 3. Just ordered the truck extension and will try this out. I imagine you lifted from the frame running down the sides of the Bronco correct? How stable was it? The 6000ELX is quite a bit longer but looks like it will fit in between the wheels.

Yes, I lift my Bronco from the frame on all four contact points (front and rear, left and right).

The QuickJack system, when set up and used properly, is very stable. You need to carefully line up the QuickJack Frames, SUV and Light Truck Adapters, and the Lift Blocks with relatively flat spots on the frame before starting the lift. If the truck adapters and/or lift blocks tilt a bit after contact with the frame, stop lifting, back off an inch or two, and line them up again. You also must remember to lower the Lock Bars onto the fixed Lock Blocks and depressurize the hydraulic system before working on or under the vehicle. Never rely solely on the hydraulic system in between the fixed Lock Blocks, because any hydraulic system can fail and depressurize, causing damage or injury.

@kodiakisland and I both worked underneath my vehicle for an entire day over a month ago, using the QuickJack to replace all of the factory skids with aftermarket skids, and we both felt the system was very safe.
