Could have used them this weekend! We need them and more when off the pavement in the PNW.Cool although I've never understood the want for these anyways. Well I never plan on bushwacking enough that would necessitate these I guess. If there is an imposing branch in my way that will hit the windshield than it will also scrape against the rest of the vehicle. Might as well get out and cut it or have a buddy hold it back while you drive by.
That's how I feel anyways.
Will they be available in black?Yes, we should have them for sale in about 2 weeks. We had to have special stainless steel M6 bolts made. So that is taking a while. We had to make thousands of them.
When it is ready will update our OP.
Will there be enough adjustment to attach the top portion to a roof rack?UPDATE: It has taken much longer than we had been told for our custom-made hardware. But it looks like we will be able to ship mid to late May (or sooner).
So we are going to open up a limited Pre-Order!
https://www.gearshade.com/product/limb-riser/
Sold as a set of 2, left & right. Fully adjustable via turnbuckle. Once the initial adjustment on the turnbuckle has been made, no other adjustment is needed to open or close your hood.
More info will follow when we get some beter photos.
