Does your friends ride live outside? Bummer the bolts are oxidizing. I have the same RC reinforcement, will have to keep an eye on it.
No, it’s spent its nights in his garage except for once or twice since he got it in February.

Friend of mine bought a Bronco that came that RC tailgate reinforcement from the dealership. The hardware on it is leaving trails of rust. Watch out for that.
Thanks, I'll definitely keep an eye out for that.

I can't wait until I can take the top/doors off! Yesterday was very windy, sunny and around 83 degrees and took the panels off! Today it was rainy and cooler, and the rest of the week in the 50s, so I have to wait! Lucky u!

I needed a fire extinguisher mounting bracket and also needed a way to hang some gear for upcoming fly fishing trip. Had a little scrap aluminum around so came up with these.

I removed all bolts and then just held the bumper out of the way to get to the bolts I needed. Kind of a pain, but the clips that held in the wires for the back-up sensors were being even more of a pain.

Yes. Not a big deal. Only install vid I found didn't have high package so I had a couple of differences. You have to unplug the 2 center wires and the 2 outer ones on the ends of the bumper if you want to remove it. I just did the inside ones and pulled it off and had some thing on each end to set the bumper on. The Badlands had 3 bolts on each side(2 that hold on the recovery hooks and 1 just adjacent to those).

I like the BAMF hitch. Nice and tucked in for more clearance. Also don't have to remove the bumper.

You don't have to remove the bumper for the Curt either. Bolts come in from the front.

I went with the Rough Country for the sole reason that it was available. I got it from Amazon the next day. Ordered 2 Curt but they kept getting pushed out deliveries. If bolts were shorter, I maybe could have got away without removing the bumper. Did not want to, but ended up being fairly easy.
