I think they look great!
so just the driver rear not closing/latching or all of them having a problem? I potentially have a set on the way and would hope after a two year delay these would be worked out well. I prefer the design over the first aftermarket version anyway.UPDATED
Got my tube doors today.
Good friend got his yesterday.
On both, the drivers side rear did not fit.
The doors are definitely out of spec to the rest (angles welds length). They don’t close no matter how you move spacers around. The Dealer (buddy works for them) even had Techs attempt.
Dealership and Ford are investigating.
Anyone else have this problem?
ORIGINAL POST - Helped a buddy install the OEM tube doors, they are massive!

It seems that on these two the template might of shifted. So the rear locking box angle is off preventing them from closing.A new one is enroute, Ford is aware, it’s isolated.so just the driver rear not closing/latching or all of them having a problem? great, thank you for the reply. Hoping to finally have some in a few weeks. Need it for the kid. And the wife for that matter. So you can have the allusion of safety that you’re protecting your kids?I would definitely want them on the rear for the kids.
Illusion? Tube doors are certainly better than no doors...my wife is the same way...kids aren't in the vehicle unless there are doors...and the tube doors will offer impact protection...So you can have the allusion of safety that you’re protecting your kids?
No. It’s to keep them from bailing out. My wife would get pissed when one of the kids fell out of the truck, plus I had to turn around and get them. Both my kids, and my grandkids, ride motorcycles. They’re on their own for safety. So you can have the allusion of safety that you’re protecting your kids?
I was responding to another’s statement.Illusion? Tube doors are certainly better than no doors...my wife is the same way...kids aren't in the vehicle unless there are doors...and the tube doors will offer impact protection...
