TARMAC is black black. If you’re familiar with the black used on MIL spec firearm components, this is the same thing.

Graphite Black is a dark grey.
I ordered a graphite smooth rail back in April. If I were to ask nicely to switch to tarmac, what's your estimate as to how much extra time until delivery?

Gotcha thanks. I have a few firearms so I know what ya mean. I think it will look better than the graphite black. I went ahead and ordered and already have a buyer for my graphite so it all worked out haha. Thanks!

Delivery time for both is basically the same. No problem with a switch to TARMAC. Just shoot an email to [email protected] with your request, and we'll make it happen Cap'n.

Today I received my BYODR and the first thought I had was WOW!
I went with the smooth in black.
It takes a lot to impress me but this rail exceeded my expectations by 100%.
I don’t have the Bronco. The blend date is tomorrow but I’ve purchased many accessories for the thing like pretty well everyone but this rail is hands down my favourite.
Love it!

We’re running the new cerakoted Burnt Bronze (C-148). This color compliments the interior color much better and is still drab enough to keep reflections down. We’ll have completed BAMS this weekend and pics up on the website and this thread soon after. This finish is replacing the previous Tech Bronze.

Guess I should have waited a bit. Early adopter but would really prefer the Lightning Blue!

Waiting for the "Blue Balls" too.

I dig some of these new colors. I purchased/installed the tumbled matte clear for its chrome-ish look. I Love how it looks, but man, with the angle of the bronco windshield, it reflects something fierce. It’s almost dangerous as the image of the BYOD rail is right across the middle of the windshield and blocks/minimizes your view. I may try to paint my rail black or pick up another one at some point with another finish.

If you want one of the new colors, you can send your rail back to us. We'll blast it and coat it a new color. email [email protected] for more info.
