yea but I'm in portland oregon, not richmond california. and my dealer informed me that my bronco should be delivered to the dealer tomorrow, and my rail tracking info never switched from CSX since 3 weeks ago from richmond CA. So if what you are saying is true it was unloaded at Richmond as i suspected as when the rail car was "released" it was still reporting Richmond CA, again 3 weeks ago.Auto racks are what are referred to as “pool” cars. It would be too inefficient to load/unload a rail car every time it went through interchange. To get around this, each rail carrier provides a certain # of rail cars based on their portion of the market place. As a result of this practice the rail car is just passed from carrier to carrier.
I promise you they did not unload your rail car and then load the Bronco onto another rail car.
Dropped off at customer location refers to when it was spotted at the auto ramp in Richmond. Released means that it was unloaded and available for pickup.
I promise you
