Am I missing something here or is a Lux package Wildtrack only $285 more than a Badlands?
Your Wildtrak price is too high by $3500 (the 2.7 and auto are in the base price for that model).

5000 for 5 tires, rims, new front diff, locking rear diff, upgraded shocks, flares, and a better 4WD... sounds about right, no?

I would be very surprised if the 5K included the auto trans. It's gotta be just a required, separate option.
I doesn’t look like it does. The Sas is 5k on an Outer Banks which comes standard with the auto.

I just got this as well. FYI package pricing is different for each trim level. Example. 2.7 is$1600 for outerbanks but $3500 for badlands.
Because the OB comes with the Automatic already. The others you have to pay for the Auto and the engine upgrade.

OH wait, these are MSRP. What is the Invoice on that? Roughly 10%?
Multiply by .965

invoice is roughly 3.5% below msrp according to one of the spreadsheets posted here before. That’s the figure I’ve been going off of.

Brandon, I saw that also. I'm wondering if Ford is playing with these prices just to see where we will bite.
Absolutely. I wonder how targeted the surveys are as well. With how much information is sold and bought, I would guess Ford has some pretty good ideas on their potential customers spending habits. How much would an avid off roader spend versus a city boy looking for a new adventure? People who have a history of outfitting vehicles in the past versus no history of vehicle upgrade purchases?

Nice brainwaves on the 2x=3000! Sticker price caught me there. That would mean that the factory soft top is only 300 more than the SuperTop (albeit for the JK). SO it would then come down to "Which is more efficient dollar wise - Soft top now or hard top now and then get the other later?"

The F150 is apples and oranges. going from a 3.3 6-Cylinder to a smaller 6-cylinder with a turbo isn't the same as going from a smaller 4cyl with a turbo to a bigger 6-cylinder with a Turbo.

Everyone needs to calm down a little on the 2.7 pricing. A couple of things to remember.
The auto in the Mustang is $1600.
The 2.7 in the 2021 F150 (stop quoting 2020 pricing) is $1200.
The 3.3 V6 in the F150 is likely a more expensive engine than the 2.3L. It is dual fuel like the V6 Ecoboosts. The 2.3 is a rather inexpensive engine for Ford. I could very easily see the 3.3V6 being $700 more than the 2.3 because for the simple reason that it has 8 more injectors than the 2.3.
