Awesome trips and pics! I’m planning a cross country trip in August. Curious- what PSI are you finding works best for on road and off road in the Goodyears? I’ve been experimenting quite a bit and just looking for a sweet spot. I’m in the 4 door and 39 PSI on road is rough but eeks just a bit better MPG’s (highway).

Yep - I've got several chips on the bottom half of the front doors from those tires. I've opted not to "Baja" it as much until I replace these gravel-magnet Goodyears with something that has a looser tread pattern.

I was going to try to get the full life out of the Goodyears, but at the rate they throw rocks they may get retired before they reach middle age.
Totally feel what you mean. I really hope maybe Ford will look into narrowing or widening the tread pattern. Bc other than the rock throwing they are an excellent C rated tire. Even for some nice light off-roading. Or in my case. Super scenic soft roading.

Lately I run 35 on the highway. Then in sandy areas and light rocks I run 25. Then anything little more rocky or light ledge climbing I run about 20.

That’s been about the same lately for me 👍🏼 How’s the tread wear been after all those miles?

So far great. I rotate all 5. Every other oil change. I def say spring tho. They will be done. Pretty sure that’s what we call a 211 rubber in that tire. It’s life can be pretty short.

I run 39/40 on road getting 18.0 mpg and only at highway speeds (80ish) a couple times a week. Depending on the trail, usually around 13-15 off.

Hey y’all been a super loooong minute.

I’ve owned Mae Pearl now just 2 months shy of a year! We’ve kept those Goodyears rolling since the day I picked her up!

No real issues to complain about. I do have a passenger door rattle, but piece of weather stripping it be good to go!

Also think would be wise for @Ford Motor Company to get with Goodyear and narrow the Sasquatch Tire tread pattern between 2-5mm just to keep the rocks from sticking in the tread!

(Goodyear Territory)
My flat was because I didn’t not clean the rocks out before hitting a trail. So I had a rock jammed into the tread pattern..then boom ran over another rock and it stabbed straight through the SW. So now I keep a screwdriver in the door to clean out rocks before and after the trail!

Also been asked how my MIC has held up. It’s been fantastic. I do have a picture of the inside of my MIC where they reworked a spot. It’s no biggy tho.

Also right now I’m running the Sunrider on my bronco. Love it. It can be noisy on the interstate, but that’s to be expected. Also I was flying 80 into the wind. It holds up like a champ.

Also I do run he 4WP flare deletes I’ve had no issues kicking up rocks expect for one time! I do now have a small chip. Also was out in Wyoming this past holiday. We were the filthiest rig bc of no flares after crossing the creeks, but I’m not to worried about that. Nothing little washing doesn’t fix.

Also few weeks before was out running about Utah with the Curt Hitch Tow Basket. Wasn’t my favorite..it was more a pain. I did end up cracking the weld on it as well. Few pictures to show the few things I mentioned.

I love all y’all’s adventures as well. Great community to be apart of. I really enjoy seeing so many broncos out and about now. This past trip I saw so many! Wyoming and SD def has a good number of Broncos on the road.

Also forgot to mention I bombed a door. I ended up loading them up and taking them to my parents and my dad helped me. We didn’t use the door bags. They actually were no help to us. So I’m going to pass mine on. Also going to be building a hydraulic cart like they use at Ford for the assembly line.

something weird going on with the mileage estimator. Best I’ve ever seen on my 2 door estimator is 356.
I’ll be completely honest with you. I love this vehicle so much but gosh dang is the F to E ratio all over the place. In IL not sure gas, the low elevation, or what but I’m lucky it’s at 300. I’ve noticed it does stop super early and I can stuff almost three more gallons in it. I’ve got to where I over fill every fill up.

Thank you. We aren’t wild rock crawlers, but we are some super scenic soft roaders. I enjoy the heck out of it!
