This has absolutely ruined the MIC CG top for me. It’s so pale and cheap looking. I will pay anything not to have that Fisher-Price abomination on my Bronco.

Yah it looks like sun bleached plastic. The Shadow Black painted looks so much better. Of course anything looks better than that pre-prod protect soft top on the other one lol.

I think for me it confirms the Sasquatch package is necessary. These were taken in Pennsylvania by Jeremy Kinneer at the Hilton Garden Inn in Uniontown, PA.

For those that don't like the MIC roof color: $1200 or $1900 will buy you a lot of spray paint. Professionally applied if you like. But any overlander will tell you once you put a bunch of stuff on your roof, kiss your finish goodbye. I'd rather have the MIC roof, it's easier to fix.

Anyone know if the rear bumper on the CG is the powder coated steel option from the Black Diamond? The one on the black rig looks different so I'm thinking it is the plastic rear bumper.

I was moving away from Cactus Gray... this may have swung me ALLL the way back. That truck is a thing of beauty.

I’m also firmly in the minority... I think that the MIC gray hardtop looks perfect on it.

Honestly, this is the first photo I’ve seen where the gray top doesn’t make me want to walk away. It might be growing on me. Still the clash with the fenders is what gets me. CG paint looks awesome here.

I suggest you find one of the threads specifically for that discussion.

One place to start is to find a dealer thread that is already sharing clear and straight forward deals. (Granger, Stephens, etc)

edit: Also, has anyone noticed that the plastic bumper with foglights shown looks nothing like the images on the Ford site under any of the trim levels? Don't know which way they are going, but the one shown here looks way better!
