🔧 8/22/22 Build Week Group 🔧

Do you have a specific build date assigned? I didn't have one when I was first assigned the 8/22 build week, and then some number of weeks later I was told I had a specific "locked in" build date of 8/27. At that point I was told in the 9/3-9/9 "ETA at dealer" estimate. I would be surprised if they are projecting an 8/27 build and a 9/3-9/9 window to complete the build - that's a long time between starting and completing a build, I don't think it takes the vehicles that long to move down the line.

Neither explanation makes perfect sense to me, but I'm just going to hold out hope they'll put it on the midnight train to GA and get it here fast!

I don’t have a specific date. They just say week of 8/22.

I just chatted with Ford myself because the date disappeared from the back door tracker (for me)

They said i still have a build week of 8/22 with an estimated delivery to my dealer of 9/15 (SF bay area)

Is estimated delivery date refer to the ready to ship date or the date arriving at the dealer? I thought production took 3 weeks. I guess they ARE trying to crank these out as fast as they can now. I'm a week behind you same dealer.

Checked with Chat and Marketing Hotline and both still have me set for 8/23/2022 build date and an ETA of 9/10/2022.

You most likely will not get one until close to the actual build date. Too much bumping dates going on so they dont want to keep having to send emails with new dates.

I got mine weeks ago; if they’re still sending them out that could possibly mean they think they can get through more than anticipated originally. Order they are just bad at sending emails. Maybe that.

Well the "chat person said" delivery...but unless they have solved the shipping issues, I'd be surprised. You never know.

It only took 4 weeks to get my last car and it was shipped from Japan.

Chatted today with Ford to get a build status (since the backdoor site doesn't give build week anymore) and was told I have an 8/23 build date. Not holding my breath...

Thats good. Ive noticed the friday builds are the ones that are more susceptible to being bumped. Im a Thursday build. Ill check again next week to see of its holding.

Just got an email today.

So now all I have to do is wait for my notification I have been bumped to a later week!
