How about some fender "deletes" with a little bit of a lip (maybe like 1") just to help keep mud/rocks from getting flung against the body?

looks cool, not legal in Maine however because fenders/flares have to cover the tires. (sure, plenty of rigs driving around that do not meet that requirement...gives the cops a free reason to mess with you though...and you have to know someone to pass inspection)

Awesome! I've been asking about this for over a year and even tired to make some myself (no luck). Will keep an eye out!

Yeah, I like the look of the deletes, but not the application. I would be interested in a clean look that provides about 1/2-1 inch of coverage. Not sure exactly the look, whether a lip or more of a bump or what, but I wouldn't mind going narrower than factory with a bit of coverage.

Will it have the hardware hidden? Personally I'm not a fan of the exposed bolts look.

Agree, but only fender delete I've found for my 2DR, I'll paint the screws probably black to help. Will post as soon as I get installed.

@HavocOffroad I've been looking for something like this for a while... Looks like it's a few screws (no adhesive) to remove which makes it easy to switch back to factory flares - to remain legal in some states and keep normal on road debris from flying all over the sides. A great off-road (only) solution for those wanting that look - occasionally. Thanks! You may want to refer to them as "Weekender Flares". Great for those who want this permanently and for those who only want it occasionally.

Spackle or duct tape'll fix that. 😅

Other than looks, though, are these functional in any way? If not for looks, why get them?

Havoc went radio silent on the minimal flares they teased. I’m still in the market for a 1/2 to 1 inch flare instead of a true delete. Certainly not looking for a square top, round bottom flare.

Forgot about this...I am assuming the project was canceled but an update would be nice.
