The 2023 F150 Lightning build and price is active today. There are substantial price increases across the board.

I think much of this is related to battery cost increases.

Examples of similarly equipped 2022 vs 2023 models have increased between $7,500 and $9,000. That's an 18% increase on a PRO model. My dealers 2022 mannequin Lariat ER has a sticker of $81,244. An identically equipped 2023 model prices out at $90,519 a $9,000 increase (11%).

I don't have any idea how these increases may translate to 2023 Bronco prices.

Must be because the quality of parts is much higher! /s 😆

But seriously that’s even more than national inflation that’s being reported (I know not the real numbers). Almost $10k more per model… seriously hope the bronco doesn’t follow suit

its more in line with the materials cost for EV stuff aka batteries. They have gone through the roof in the past year.

good thing for price protection. the entry barrier to electrified fords is so incredibly high. i hate to see what these things will cost in 5 years. im sure my pay will go up ~3% a year. But if car prices are going up 10%, we are all F'kd.

I was considering one of these for my business, still am, but that will be in a couple of years. What made the LIghtning so attractive was it's price. A Pro edition for sub $40K plus the tax credit was great. LIke I said, I have time, but I'm not liking where the pricing is heading, especially if they can't improve the range without adding $20k more to the price.

Companies may want to rethink because gov is about to add an EV tax credit cutoff of $55k and up cars and 80k for trucks and suvs which they’ve already priced themselves out of for multiple models
