It really does look awesome. I'm surprised that as the tires get larger, the shape of a wheels wells is not too small of a radius. A lot of times when you go big on tires, they get really close or make contact at the front and back (when the cutting starts). But it seems like this wheel well shape is just right for 38s.

I’ve been stupid busy. The rear clears no problem. The front hits the frame but I’m talking 100% lock it is also hitting the back crash bar this is no big deal it is like just ever so little and only at full lock just need to grind a little more off. Hope to do some more testing tomorrow and post new results. Keep in mind this is 1/4in spacer 1in results I hope to have tomorrow.

37s like even true 37s for sure. Still need a few measurements on the 38s. Not sure how the aftermarket arms work if one shifts the tire back say 3/8in that would be money just cut a little More or all the back crash bar off. 😎

Few pics of how and what it looked like keep in mind same way I tested the 37s. I used a sting being I was by myself see pics. String is needed for me to be able to get out and take pics. You also can’t just turn the wheel once you have to do it 4 or 5 times to get a true full lock position. Also for the rear I leave swaybar connected to push the back tire into the finder a little extra.

So this is with 1in spacers just front. With a few zip ties and a little grinding. 1in spacers we’re the sweet spot.

As I said zip tied the front. Grinded the rear crash bar and cut and grinded my mud flap bracket. Spray painted everything black again.

These two pics show who far the bracket for the rear mud flaps moved back and how I zip tied the little plastic piece.

So final results offset needed was 1in spacer.

Thats 25mm so being the Factory offset is 30mm 30-25= 5mm offset

0 offset personally should be fine I would say 15mm to 0.

I will post more info tomorrow just don't have the time today.

Any questions ask.

So final results offset needed was 3/4in spacer.

Thats 19mm so being the Factory offset is 30mm 30-19= 11mm offset

0 offset personally I say is to much for 38s I would say get an 10-30mm offset and get spacers.

I will post more info tomorrow just don't have the time today.

I am running some black rhino delta wheels that have a +12mm offset on a non-sas badlands (1" spacer lift in front). The wheels are 17x9.5. I'm running 35x13.5 tires and that necessitated a wider wheel (on paper anyway).

I like your wheels and I get there's no reason to change them. I just mention because the +12 is about where you are with the spacers.

After running spacers without issue for years, I just recently broke two studs on each side on a different rig running some really wide spacers (2").

-just rambling some of my perspective. Your rig is looking great and I'm looking forward to more posts.

@Bradley Thornton how true do those Patagonias measure? I'm debating trying to cram a true 37" under mine with only a 2" lift or stick with a smaller tire.
About 37 1/2 but its also 13.5 wide vs my old build at 12.5 wide. You can get 37x12.5 and that width makes a huge difference. Did you look at my 37x12.5 build thats sounds like it would be more helpful this build will 100% require JKS max tire clearance kit. Just to even think about trying it. But it took way more effort than just even that.

2in spacers is asking for trouble. I am now riding the KM3s no spacer as a daily and the 38s with the spacer are only for Offroad trips like Moab, Windrock stuff like that. I have drove it 600 miles pulling a trailer with my SXS and rode it hard and drove home just so I could prove to myself it could but those days are over. Next time I take a big trip it will be trailered with the 38s and ready to hit the trails when it comes off the trailer.
