Hi,

My dealer is charging $300 per tire, $300 per wheel, and $600 for a 2" lift. How does this compare with your experience?

Well I don't have any experience on this I just say thank you for using a Ford dealer.

Some info missing from this...is that $3600 in just parts or labor?

Or are you saying that you're getting aftermarket tires, wheels ,lift and labor for $3600. If so then you hit the jackpot depending on what you're getting.

Sorry I butchered the original question.. That’s LABOR only for lift install, tire install, wheel install.

$300 x 4 to install tires
$300 x 4 to install wheels
$600 x 1 to install 2” lift

Lift is the 2” Rough Country, wheels are 17” Fuel alloys, tires are the KO2. All purchased through the dealer.

my guess is:

1500 for tires; example cheap 35s or good 33s for around 300/pop

1500 for rims, aftermarket is 250-400 per normally. assume they are using something ford.

puck lift for 100ish parts 500ish install.

this is exactly what market is. my question is what are they doing? good a/t's, what rims, etc?

You are still lacking relevant info. I think you need to press pause as it doesn't seem like you have any idea on what exactly you are buying.

Okay, so they are KO2's, what size??
Okay Fuel Alloys, what model??

Once you figure it out you can probably get a comparable price from Discount Tire on the wheels and tires. And probably a comparable complete package (lift, wheels, tires) from 4WP.

I’m only asking about the LABOR as it seemed ridiculously high.

You have to be misunderstanding the quote. Those prices must include the tires purchase price. I'm no fan of dealers, however, I can't even imagine that 1200 in labor alone in tires is accurate.

Can’t be accurate in labor cost. My dealership put on my DV8 FS-15 bumper and it took them 8 hrs and I payed $300

Your right, if that truly is labor only, walk out and don't look back. I agree with others that you are reading something wrong. Either that or your dealer is trying to give you a hint they don't want to be bothered with it. But again, call Discount Tire and/or 4WP or whomever is local for comparable pricing.

I am bringing new rims, tires, and TPMS sensors with me when I pick up my bronco. My dealer is going to charge $25 each to mount, balance and install $125 total.

My biggest regret for a lift was the rough country I put on my jeep. Eventually replaced it. If it is all you can afford then I suppose it is okay.

I don't really think it makes a difference on what brand it is for spacer lifts, hard to screw those up.

Couldn't see spending a bunch of money on spacers just because they have a different brand name on them.

Now if you were going for new coilovers, control arms, etc. that would be a different story.
