Hello everyone:

I was just having fun looking at tires (guilty habit) and decided to see what the best A/T tire there was. I narrowed it down to Mickey Thomson Baja Boss A/T and BFG All-Terrain K02s. I thought for sure BFGs would be best but after further research Mickey Thompson leveled the playing field. Has anyone had any experience with the Mickey Thompsons? I have the K02s on our Raptor and currently running Wrangler Duratrecs on our F150 (which I don't recommend, horrible tire noise after 5 years). I'm mostly looking at tire noise, since as far as I know you can't go wrong with either one off-road.

Thanks!

I'm running 37" K02s AT, around 10k in miles. Very happy with them.... Quite, smooth ride. Good luck

I went from stock K02s to Mickey ATZs, which is a very close cousin to the Baja Boss, and they're much louder but I otherwise like them a lot.

We took our Mickey T Baja Boss AT's ( https://www.mickeythompsontires.com/light-truck-tires/baja-boss-a-t) on the Alpine loop of Colorado. Never lacked for traction. Actually surprised me with their ability to grip rock. The are about the same level of noise as the Goodyear Territory our SAS came with. 50,000 mile and 3 Peak snow rating along with the sidewall strength sold us on this tire.

I run Mickey Thompson 37" Baja Boss A/T's on my 2022 OBX Sasquatch. Love Mickey Thompson and even have some 35's on my sons 2017 Jeep Rubicon. Big fan of MT tires and love the drive with them. I have zero road noise from my Baja Boss A/T's, as matter of fact, the stock 315 Goodyear Territory's (stock on Sasquatch) were much louder for road noise.

Agree with everything already posted. Love the MT's.
Had BFG KO2 on my F150. Also a great tire.
I've noticed that the Micky Thompson AT picks up way fewer rocks.

The Baja Boss is much much heavier than a KO2. Deal breaker for me.
The lightest load C are the original Sasquatch tires then the KO2s. The Baja Boss is 71lbs for a 35, ridiculous.

I just put a set of MT Baja Boss A/T's on my F150 Raptor. Just road miles so far, but they are quiet and the handling is very good. The KO2's made it 30k miles and served well. They did start getting loud at about 25k miles. They still had a little life left, but were getting a little sketchy in the rain. Heading into winter I opted to swap them out. The MT's took far less weight to balance. Hopefully they work at least as well as the KO2's.

Just installed 255/85/17 MKT Bajas. So far so good. Notes so far
1. smidge louder than the general grabbers I had originally, but nothing crazy.
2. They are heavy for 63lbs for such a narrow E tire.
3. First offroad adventure and not a single issue or slip. Love them and the look so far.

are the front crash bars removed?
Are you getting the pizza cutter look?

I removed the front ones because of my bumper, the back ones are still in place. And yes certain angles looks quite narrow
