I think you also need to factor in how long you want to wait for your Bronco. I had an original order date of 2/28/21 for a 2dr Manual BaseSquatch..I converted in 22 then switched to a 2dr Manual Black Diamond, Tow, Mod Bumper for 23. I got a build date of 11/14 ..My dealer told me that 1 out of 10 orders they receive are SAS so apparently there is more of a constraint than Ford is telling us. Having a rear locker and advanced 4WD will be fine for what I do. Good Luck with your decision

Why not buy a Base or Black Diamond, drive it. See what you like and don't,
then modify down the road? Better SAS mods coming up in the future.
Provided you're going to keep it, and refine it over time as if you had a '67 Bronco.

What gears do you have? Ours are 4.27 in the OBX but you could also get non locking 3.73. My wife’s on 35’s will barely crack 16mpg on the freeway Vs stock 32’s that people claim 18-21mpg
4.27 and average 17.5ish mpg in mixed driving through the first 11k miles.

This setup is as high as a SAS. Wasn’t looking to go 35s, because you need the taller gearing, which kills the performance. Want to race? 🤪 On the Street, that is!

That’s close to what I get on 37’s with the 2.7. My wife’s is the 2.3

Consider a Big Bend with rear locker. You get the shorter axle ratio, and with the 2.3L, you get a good balance of quick acceleration and fuel economy. I ordered one this way and let a friend of mine take it. He averages 22-23mpg. It’s very responsive and you’ll be in it around $40k. I ordered the two tone interior, which I think looks a bit more upscale. Plus the overhead switches.
Doesn’t seem worth the money. What would one expect to pay for the minor suspension lift? Wheels and tires are easy enough to find. Final drive ratio option is available. Don’t care about locking dif. Or am I better off just adding Sasquatch on a Base. If and when I can order one.

I've always been a lead foot, especially when in the Bronco that always feels slow(and is) compared to my daily driver.

It was $2500 on my Badlands. The wheels and tires are worth more than that alone.
Is that really a valid justification though? You're still buying a new car, which means it comes with wheels and tires. Are SAS wheels+tires really $2500 more to manufacture and sell than fords base tires and wheel package?

Have you heard of the Bronco Sport? No expensive Sasquatch package option there to worry you.
Have one. And a Maverick 2.0 EB AWD

Base Sasquatch is an incredible deal, and I plan to order one as well when the banks reopen.
It’s my built and this is 100% on point. The ride of a SAS is simply way better than a non-SAS. I didn’t think it would be as big of a difference as it is but it’s SAS all the way for me.
