Mine has 1200 miles, had it for exactly 2 months today.
Just checked my top out, which hasn't been removed at all. :(

Wonder if someone at the factory is beating the windows into the top causing flexing that ultimately leads to cracks? This picture especially looks like it is bowing outward possibly from window pressure.

Did you open the windows above 50MPH, turn on the AC, or remove the front MIC panels?

Then you should have known that the top would not survive.

I was referring to pressure in the frame opening but you have a good point.

Wonder how long Ford can get away with this. Agreed with the other poster they don’t want to lose more money honoring the warranty. They fumbled the bag big time on the tops.

We may never see MIC or MOD tops available as an accessory for this reason as well

Here’s mine…got it from the dealer like this…two months of bullshit later…not defective. Warranty denied. So I suppose it’s supposed to look like someone slashed at it from the factory?

You expect a warranty claim for that?

That was just nicked at some point. The other guys’ pics are cracks that developed over time.

Mine showed up cracked at the dealership. Let's see if it is covered under warranty or will it be said this is normal from the factory? I am betting Ford tells me tough sh_t, take it or leave it.

I expected an undamaged vehicle at delivery. Oh…silly me. Thanks for your input though and clarification of cracks that could be ‘morning dew’. Lmfao

I took delivery of mine a week ago, and am not quite at 300 miles. I noticed mine is missing the two bolts that secure the clamshell at the to top front where the front panels meet the rear clamshell, so the connection plates rattle and Squeak a bit
The holes are a bit misaligned too, so after reading this thread, I cannot wait to hear what Ford has to say about it!

@mpeugeot & @Green Diamond - I sent an email to my salesman yesterday. He responded later from their texting platform and asked for me to send pictures. Then responded with "Let me see what I can do."

I'll remain optimistic for now.

Editing to add: Truck hasn't been offroad, haven't ever removed a top panel... and the first thing I had done once I got it home was I had the nicest cermic tint I could find applied, so the inside of the truck does NOT get hot. In my mind, this has to be pure materials/craftsmanship.

Good lord - makes me want to 99 mine until 2028. Maybe Ford can figure something out in 5 years.

Those plates don’t look like they’re supposed to be there. Mine are between the front and rear seats. My cap just bolts directly into the frame there.
