My dealer said they (Ford) won't actually fulfill all the orders

So, my very rude GSM at Malloy Ford in Charlottesville first asked me for $500 non-refundable deposit to order the 2 door today (lie), but then after I asked about any dealer markups he said he wasn't sure and that he didn't believe Ford would actually fulfill all reservations. I asked why and he said he's been doing this awhile so he knows. I'm running from them asap. Anybody else hear anything like that?

Exactly. 150k fully refundable reservations does not equal 150k orders.

I'm sure not all reservations will be fulfilled in year 1 (2021) and not all will follow through with their orders. But Ford will certainly fulfill all reservations eventually

Haha this guy was a real piece of work. I asked how could I order one now when the build and price tool isn't even live yet? He said well I'm looking at it right now. I was like I think I'd know considering I look at the site like 100 times a day. He said oh well yeah I guess it's just the sport.
