Quick shot of my bronco, finally got my long travel kit from wicked creations. I decided to go with the +5 kit. This put me at 92” wide.. excited to try her out in the desert soon as I get my fiberglass. Here are some pics comparing a stock width to mine.

Update Jan 25

Update: so we got the chance to take the bronco out to sand hollow this past week. So with the rear axles in I was limited on 4x4 but that didn’t stop the fun. In the dunes the suspension handles pretty dame well over what I had. (Before I had just the kings with camburg arms). Now as for crawling, before I broke the axle it got way less tipsy. At no point did I 3 wheel or really felt unbalanced. Here are a few pics..

On another note we got the chance to test the onboard welder from premier power welder that we are testing. Best way to put is is it works, we welded my axle, the frame on a jeep, and the axle on another jeep. More on that setup coming up

Hoss steering rack. Is going in soon. As well as a rear Dana 60.. it’s a slow build.. will be getting bypasses and all that fun stuff as funds allow

Well all the weaker parts are a ticking time bomb.

In reality only week parts are the tie rods as of now if I plan to crawl.. but bronco will be mainly for open desert like Baja. Not my first truck I build. So very familiar to what needs to be improved.

I'm sure you are familiar. Tie rods will definitely need to be upgraded if you plan on doing hard Baja, definitely got the perfect vehicle for doing that. Looks pretty cool so far!

I was talking to Geoff at giant motorsports on Friday, he mentioned to me that wicked creations was working on a LT kit. Checked their Instagram and saw a bunch of pictures and videos. The truck had an AC Fab sticker across the windshield and I thought it might have been yours.

92" seems crazy wide for these trucks. I had an H&M long travel for 97-03 f150 that was 5.5" wider per side and it sat 91" wide. I guess wheel offset could play a factor too.

I’m use 0 offset wheels on this one.. well the bronco is already a fairly wide truck from factory honestly

Ya I guess I was I was really only thinking about the cab size, but you're right the track width is almost identical between both vehicles.

I have a Hoss 3.0 rack sitting in the box in my garage. You're not too far from me, maybe we can get together and program our racks at the same time. Save a few bucks on the license, etc.
