I find it interesting that at the link there's no address given for the location and the town it's located in is never mentioned other than in a mention on one of the scenic rides that it will "return to Townsend".

Yeah it is not user-friendly on their page to locate. I had to find out via this forum where it was. Otherwise I would assume it was there in Pigeon Forge near Dollywood where the rod runs are at.
Hopefully Townsend is a bit easier to park and navigate, less commercial and busy. PF during a show is intense.

I live just south of Chattanooga and would like to go but nearly a 2 hr drive and dealing with large crowds to spend 15-20 minutes looking at Bronco I can't sit in and drive just doesn't really appeal to me. Especially when I know this forum will be flooded with pics and video!

Gotcha! But hey, for me I feel I need to see it in person. Especially the 4 door, and there are solid rumors there will be the paint samples there to see in person as well.
IF those two (or really either by itself) are true, I'm happy to drive 4.5 hours...
And the Chatt-Townsend drive isn't the worst one ever. Pretty scenic and relaxing if you want it to be.
I'm stuck with I-40 to Knoxville then south.
I much prefer 2 lane blacktop.
Maybe I'll see ya there.
I plan on having some cool Squatch decals to pass out.

I'll be out in Kentucky visiting some family during this... Might just have to drop down to this celebration as well! If they announce something other than the black trail rig from the west, I'll definitely go!

Less than 4 hours for me. I can handle that. Might just grab a cabin or a camp site near in the area.
Townsend is nothing like the traffic over at Pigeon / Gatlinburg , there is traffic but its 4 lane and theirs like only one light on the entire section of RT321 where the hotel / event will be at.

Is there an address to this event? i am trying to plan a road trip.
16 hr drive for me if I decide to go coming all the way from southeast texas.
there is no shortage of hotels. you can stay in the Pigeon Forge area really easily or you can actually stay out at the Knoxville airport in Alcoa, its a 20 min drive. The hotels/motels/B&Bs in Townsend are not big at all so that area cant support a "big" event.
Reservations made, will be driving the 6 1/2 hours down from Ohio for a long weekend.
