This is awesome but the 35s wouldn’t perform well at all on snow right? My understanding is that mud tires perform pretty poorly in icy/snowy conditions.

It depends on the tires. I had some decent success with the BFG MTs and Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s (Hybrid AT with MT outer lugs).

The tread and width becomes an issue.

If I go Sasquatch/35 I'll have a second set of smaller winter tires. I'm a firm believer in a dedicated set for winter.

Given the news, I'm wondering if they may offer an MT on the 2.7L. would love this for the badlands + sasquatch option.

I thought they'd limited by 10mm for 35s. Where did 40mm and 30mm come from?
Where did 10mm come from? I'm going off worst case scenario numbers based off this document. Stock travel vs Badlands.....

I'm still up in the air as I'll probably trash either version for coilovers and bypasses....

When is Geiser Bros dropping that long arm setup? Brappppp

So!

I suppose Ford is forgiven for taking some extra time to get it right and give the enthusiasts what they want??

Ford Bronco Sasquatch package with 2.3L + manual transmission Bronco - testing underway! IMG_20200916_210032
I believe in the Bronco Q&A they said the Badlands and Sasquatch suspensions were the same but the Squatch had been limited by 10mm to fit the tires

I agree and I’ll be waiting a year or two to see if Ford comes to its senses. If you’ve got some higher performance items, make them available to get all together. I’m waiting on the ability to get a 4-door, 2.7 (or larger), Sasquatch, Manual. Keeping my fingers crossed

Was thinking the same, just wondering how necessary that’ll be if I went the Sasquatch route. Had all seasons on my WRX and had to get winters when I got my Fiesta. Difference is night and day.

No, I want the 2.7. And I still don’t understand the fascination with using the left foot with today automatics. Then again, I know that I have a lot to learn.

If you go with smaller tires then what are you doing about the mismatch with the calibration of your speedometer? Are there any 35” “snow tires” available. I have deal with snow so this becomes important to me.
