I'm glad someone already pointed out that is NOT Iconic silver and the yellow is assembly jigs . There is an Iconic Silver F-150 at work and it's , well , Silver . The Carbonized grey looks good though . I keep going back to it since I haven't really seen a good representation of the other colors I am bouncing around in my head .

I'm a little bummed that the Ford emblem on the tail gate is riveted or bolted on and that they made an indentation for it. I typically de-badge my vehicles but oh well...I'll live
Exact opposite for me..I'd rather have something solidly mounted than glued on.

Are we sure that's Iconic Silver? I'm looking at pictures of the Carbonized Grey MachE side by side with these, and they look pretty darn close. I think the obnoxiusly bright factory lights are bringing out the light in the Carbonized Gray in these new photos.

Disclaimer: I'm terrible with colors

I think you're right.

My initial thought was WOW Carbonized Grey looks good...

Then I saw some posts calling it Iconic Silver, then I was like hrmmm, it does look a little light.

Then I pulled up the same pics as you and I was like, nah that has to be Carbonized Grey.

S2000 had two similar colors: Sebring Silver and Silverstone Metallic. Sebring was more white, and Silverstone was more grey.

Can someone with knowledge of the production process explain why the hood would be attached during production and not just added after the engine work is completed? Seems like an unnecessary hazard for the workers.
body marries to the frame that the engine is in.

Or they could be paying really close attention during those first couple hundred and after that they get lazy and complacent haha
What we're gonna get is what happened to the gen 1 Raptor. A bunch of little issues that need to be fixed under warranty that come up from hasty assembly, regardless of how long it's been going. The little quirks will last as long as the pre-orders do.

That's what they are doing now - they have about five months to work the bugs out of the assembly line process. So much of it is automated now that I don't think it's much of a concern to be honest. The bigger concern is for design flaws that won't get noticed until a good number of them are on the road, which we won't have for well over a year, maybe two. How's Ford with handling recalls? I've never owned one...
They're pretty on top of it. TSB's as well.
