It’s official. I made the decision and just switched the reservation I made on reveal night to @Granger Ford! Thanks for all the transparency, answering everyone’s questions, and for having a killer deal that’ll make it worth it for me to fly out and drive home.

Talk about beating a dead horse....I know this has been discussed enough, but I'm still not convinced...Ford is not Tesla. There is an allocation process that occurs. Reservations will be filled in as close to when received as possible. That doesn't eliminate the allocation process in my mind. I'm lucky, I have an early reservation, but if I were to have a later reservation I'd be concerned about when my order would be filled based on allocation process if I move to somewhere with a lot of buyers.

Not trying to start a whole new thread, just hoping someone has CONFIRMED they won't follow the allocation system which I'm guessing is a breach of contract with their dealer network. I'm not saying I won't switch, I'm just saying I'll be waiting until the last possible minute for any true confirmation from Ford.

I love what Granger has done in providing the info they have, and glad they're getting the business they deserve. I just wish there was more concrete information/confirmation from Ford.
On Ford's "Online Reservation FAQ" they say:

Will reservations be fulfilled in the order placed?
Reservations will be fulfilled in approximately the same order received, based on final ordering and production of similarly configured Broncos. All reservations will be completed before production of stock units begins.

I switched both my FE reservations to Granger Ford this morning.

FE 2-Door: (Hers - Auburn Colors)

Knowing that I will be paying $1300 under invoice for each (due to x-plan), leads to a savings on both FE models of $6,607 from MSRP. Even with shipping on a group ship plan with the Georgia Bronco group for $450 each ($900) it Leads to a total savings of $5707. Not to mention avoiding ADM above MSRP most dealers are going to want for an FE and any other saving I can get on options/accessories.

@Granger Ford for the win!!!

Thanks Albert!

Switched to Granger yesterday, heard from Albert this morning. I’ve heard more from Albert in the last hour than I have my previous dealer since making my reservation. I’m extremely happy I made the switch.

Nice! Funny, I was going to email him. He hasn’t loggged into 6G in a day and the questions are piling up. I was worried something had happened to him.
damn he spoils us here with his availability.

Almost ready to switch.....my dealer is saying they don’t know the holdback amount yet on the new Bronco so they don’t know how Granger can make this offer? Is this true? What happens to the Granger deal if the holdback changes?

There still seems to be some difference of understanding reguarding the issue of different emission equipment requirements.
Can we be assured that an order placed By Granger will include the California Emission Equipment if the customer needs it to be able to register their Bronco in their home state..
See the following post...

50-state is California emmisions. Ford stopped making vehicles with two different smog standards. They are all California compliant now. The confusion is people are thinking 50-state is the old 49-state standard.

Well, he's just flat out wrong.
Well that clears things up!

I think either way good to know Ford ONLY sells "50-state" vehicles. At some point in time, some manufacturers built "49-state" vehicles and there was a hoop to jump through for CA. It appears that this is no longer the case.

Can we figure out which 4 other posts this was a question or concern by several people and repost there :) hahaha.

Edit: Full DMV DOC for visibility. https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/uploa...vehicle with, been registered in another state.

I guess we could have all just done what Chris did and Googled.)

Only one thing is certain... someone is wrong....If there is a CA Emissions box that can be checked on the order form that goes to Ford, I damn sure want it checked on my order. I dont want to end up with a vehicle that I cant register.
Nay Nay seems quite certain about her info....chrtra1 seems quite certain about his... there is confusion that is worth getting cleared up!!!
