If Ford will allow for X plan discounts on Bronco orders, will my stocks have to be at 1 year plus at time of placing order? My purchase of 100 plus shares was 7/15.

The PIN # is needed when the final sale paperwork is submitted. You can let the dealer know that you intend to use the x plan, but the # isn't required until the final sale. In theory, you can show up to pick up your Bronco and still walk away from the sale if you feel like it. The dealer will likely be happy if the sale falls through because instead of selling it at the x plan discount, they can put it on their lot at MSRP.

I suggest that all load Ford Pass on their phones prior to entering their respective dealerships, your salesperson will be happy about that...

I'm thinking about switching my reservation to Granger, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

If I switch, will my "time stamp" be the date of my original reservation or the date when I switched?

Are there any anticipated delivery delays that could be caused by switching? Such as I may be in an earlier percentile at my original dealer than at Granger if I switch. If that makes sense.

Since Lightning Blue is exclusive to the First Edition, I don't think that will delay delivery. Those are getting built first...

Based on the new info, there absolutely could be delays if you switch to a dealer that gets less allocations...since it’s no longer going strictly on reservation order, but dealers are given a certain amount of Broncos for reservations based on a formula.

That's kind of what I was getting at in my post. Say I was 10th in line (reservation date) of 100 reservations at my current dealer. And say I would be 1000th in line of 2000 at Granger. Just speculating - but would something like this result in getting the Bronco sooner from the current dealer due to the allocation model that Ford is proposing?

The way Granger has explained it, the allocation % numbers are for dealers AFTER reservations are fulfilled. For 2021, allocations is equivalent to reservations. So I don't thing there is any need to worry. Reservations will be filled first and in order of date/time stamp.

So let me see if I understand this right. What is the point of the word "allocations" in the context of ordering a new Bronco? If it's not used in the traditional sense, how is it used? Is it something like this: Let's say I was (in terms of time) one of the first 25% of people making a reservation, but because of the size of my dealership, location, and how much business it does, if my dealership doesn't have enough spots I could end up getting the bronco at then end of all reserved bronco deliveries notwithstanding my place in the overall reservation order?

spend the $25 and join the mustang club. I think the wait time to get xplan is quicker, if there even is one. I can’t remember.

I think stocks are 6 months and MCA is 60 days
