Official orders will need to be placed by the end of January 2021 and at that point, buyers will select their dealer of choice.

Sounds like they didn't get the whole process right either. ?More confusion. People are going to start freaking out wondering if more things are changing again.

"We will continue to add new appearance and feature choices, including paint colors and special editions, for customers that have a longer wait."

Perhaps those who delay their reservations to get Granger's newest deal will be rewarded with more/better options for when they finally order.

Honestly though mid-october is weeks away not days haha. Good to know maybe able to change dealers when you order.

A LOT of interesting information in the article. I was actually surprised. And coming directly from the Detroit Free Press via Ford!

I wonder why those of us who signed up for email updates from Ford aren't getting any info like this...we have to scan the Internet looking for articles. lol

This entire article seems to just regurgitate everything that's been out for weeks (and parts of the article seem questionable).
The headline puts me off the worst; "Unexpected Demand..." Really? Ford has been dangling the Bronco out there for years and they think the demand is unexpected?

Ford is probably making a pretty good choice here by making extra stuff available for late delivery. That should help them spread out the builds to make everyone happy.
