What problems do you have with your late model ford that you hope do not infect the new Bronco?

Honestly, I haven’t had an issue with it. I only put 20k miles on it though
I remember autocrossing my 14 , launching in 1st shifting into second clutch fully depressed and it letting out a nasty grind. I caught so much shit for that. The next day I had a short throw and all the bushings ordered. That made it better, but still pretty shit.

I can’t remember a Ford that I didn’t have a problem with the AC.

2016 Fusion (67k) paint bubbling on hood; Bluetooth is a turd; and multiple same injector failures, finally isolated to a door or actuator or something (every ~15k miles I had to get a new injector; they got tired of dumping time and money into my car so they figured out what the issue was).

2018 F150 KR (15k) no problems at all.

2012 F150 Platinum both running board motors died. The second one died while the extended warranty assessor/appraiser dude was evaluating the first one to die. Both were covered by the same $100 deductible. Super expensive parts that made me happy for extended warranties.

'30 Model A ~ rattles a lot

'18 F150 KR ~ Amp went out about a year in, 2nd gear is a little hard sometimes on the 10 speed, a few other electrical gremlins that a disconnected battery resets and fixes, recall on the sunroof because it sounded like it was breaking on opening

Bottom line if you're worried about it get the extended warranty and stop worrying about it

What I see as common failures:
-Evap purge solenoid
-My sync
-Camshaft actuators
-Variable valve timing solenoids
-Cap-less fuel door flap
-Not going to mention dual clutch because Bronco won’t have it.
-paint peeling
-Stereo or amplifier
-TWIN TURBOS! P0299! Worst fricken code to ever see on a v6 twin turbo!
-P0299, please check blow off valve before replacing turbos!! Best thing in the world is to find the blow off valve torn or a turbo pipe damaged. If no leaks... turbos :(

My RS is rattly as hell. It's ridiculous. No new car should rattle this bad. Rattles are a big complaint among RS owners. Sure it's "just a Focus", but it's a 40k car all the same.

Boost in the first two gears is inconsistent.

Paint on the grill inserts was too thin and they are more rust than paint now. Though that can be mostly blamed on salty roads. Thanks AK.

I've got a 2011 Ford Explorer (First year of the entirely newly designed Explorer) with 130,000 miles on it. It's been a fantastic car overall. These are the issues i've had:

1 - Sync 8" system failed about 10,000 miles in. Dealer replaced it quickly, no issues since.
2 - Outside smell coming in to cabin even with re-circluation on. Was a recall they fixed.

Thats it.

Not a late model, but the auto trans in our Ford Escort started slipping the 1-2 shift at around 70k miles. Quoted 2K to fix. Instead drove it slipping 4 more years and then got rid of it. Neighbor kid spent 3K on his late model Mustang auto trans when it left him stranded.

So ... I'm hoping the Ford 10 speed auto is bullet proof and capable of way past 100k miles without slipping or needing a rebuild. (Manual trans vehicles have been rock-solid for me, leaning towards the 7 speed manual, pending reviews.)

I work on Fomoco products daily and there have been very few issues with the 10 speed besides program gremlins. My 2012 F 250 S/D has been faultless so far but only 74000km used for offroading and camping
