How would the auto start/stop work with a manual transmission? That would be so distracting and weird.
0 mph, clutch in, foot brake on-engine stops. Release brake engine starts (same as now). Shift to neutral/to another gear @ 0mph engine restarts. In many states it is illegal to shift into neutral while moving.

Here's my wish list, in no particular order:

- Hard top and doors come off all the way, easily. Factory tube doors would be cool.
- Reasonably quiet inside with top on and windows up
- Coyote or Godzilla (or Voodoo, why not, it's a wish list)
- 500 mile range
- Able to do all of the green trails and most of the blue trails at Rausch Creek in stock configuration
- Easy maintenance, easy upgradability (but also good enough stock that upgrades are a choice, not a requirement)
- Tows 7500+
- Smaller than the Explorer (at least shorter)
- Seats fold flat so I can carry stuff in it
- Cloth seats on higher trim levels
- Washable interior on higher trim levels
- Dumb simple 4x4 system
- Regular ass non-painted, non-black, non-chrome wheels. Just give me some silver 5 spokes or something. So tired of black wheels.
- Stereo that sounds good stock (my Focus had a great stock sound system, my VW sucks) and bluetooth that works
- No "glued-on-tablet" on the dash
- Real buttons and switches and stuff that I can operate with gloves
- Keyless entry & ignition
- Generally feeling of contentedness when cruising on a warm summer day with the windows down and my arm out the window

Ok, my turn. My wishlist:

Performance:
-Non-hybrid engine in high performance trims, either 2.7/3.0 or V8
-Manual transmission with said high performance trim
-Raptor transfer case with 4A mode
-Ability to lock rear diff at any speed and 4wd mode (like Raptor)
-Torsen front diff
-Decent suspension travel. 10"+ is fine for my purposes
-Live valve fox shocks from the raptor
-<4000lb curb weight for the 2 door
-Ability to turn traction + stability control totally, completely off.

Interior:
-Heated and cooled, well bolstered leather seats. Preferably Recaros.
-Leather interior
-Leather steering wheel in a sport shape like the raptor ones
-Decent sized screen (~8" is plenty), landscape orientation and integrated into the dash (not sticking up)
-Carplay
-Physical buttons/dials for climate controls
-Steering wheel controls for music
-Heads up display; projected into the windshield, not a standalone piece of glass (unlikely, but...wishlist)
-Upfitter toggle switches
-120V outlet

Exterior:
-LED Headlights + running lights
-Not picky about wheels, just not chrome. Strong and light.
-Factory metal skid plates under everything. Engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank
-Convenient places to mount aftermarket lights
-Fixed/nonremoveable hardtop option
-No vents/intakes that aren't functional
-Similar length to a 2 door wrangler
-Can be slightly wider than a wrangler, anything under 80" wide is fine.
-<100" wheelbase
-Flared out fenders relative to body on high performance trims

Other:
-Enough fuel capacity to get ~400 miles of highway range.
-~5500lb towing capacity, factory trailer brake controller option
-Ability to get all this good stuff without any adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, auto high beams, etc. I'll accept auto start/stop but only because it doesn't sound so bad with a manual transmission.
-No fake engine noise. Give it a good exhaust instead, or let me hear the turbos spool.
-Under $65k after all these options are checked off

Ford is reading ALL of this and are furiously taking notes.

We're getting the Canyonero.

One thing to note - Ford has made the "CoPilot360" system standard on basically all models, so I don't know if Bronco will come without that system.

here is one thing I thought of that I cannot stand about newer vehicles that I wish/hope you can turn off. The other day I went to move a truck in the shop and I left the door open, foot on brake, put in gear to move it. Took my foot off the brake …. "click",computer put it back in park because the door was open. BUNCH OF SHIT !!!! Sorry but that annoyed me. My 08 F-150 is not like that. Went to pull a jeep in the shop the other day, foot on brake, move the shifter to reverse, went to back up and realized the parking brake was on. Released the parking brake, still won't move, look down and the "R" on the shifter is flashing. Back in Park, try again. Foot on brake, put in reverse, foot off brake car moves. I didn't do it in the right sequence and the computer says not gonna move. Let me tell you what the first time I am trying to maneuver in the woods and something like this happens in my Bronco and I will never take it in the woods again. Maybe you'all might like this stuff but I can't stand it. I know how to operate a vehicle, I don't need the computer trying to "outthink" me I need it to do what I am telling it. I am not on my phone and I do not need something watching out for me I am paying attention unlike 85% of the other drivers out there. When I took my test I had to actually operate the car and it was a stick ( 85 omni to be exact) for the record. I agree with all of you on that aspect. If I was a cop givinga driving exam the first time the person looked at their phone …... failed !!! Turn the phone off you are supposed to be driving !!!! that is how you kill innocent people !!as bad a s driving drunk !!!
Don't want to sound offensive or start an argument, but If you ever opened an Owner's Manual, you would know that this is safety feature and if you want to move your car/truck with open door, put your seat belt on. With seat belt on, it will not shift to Parking.

I can imagine, damn fine game last night. That 4th quarter was something else. I didn't have a dog in the fight, but not unhappy with the outcome. My oldest sister just moved up there to KC last year and it is on a not terribly short list for where I am looking for my next career.
