OK so looking at the outer banks next to the wildtrak the tires look so small so what sizes tires do you think would fit safely with out lifting or changing rims

I've also thought this. What's weird is I don't think it's the tires necessarily as much as it is the rims that give them the illusion that they're smaller. The tire size is the same on base, BB, BD but look smallest on OBX lol

It’s not the diameter. It’s the width and aggressiveness that make them look pitiful.

I have to imagine a 33" tire similar to what comes on the Badlands will fit. The only problem is how much will that slow the OBX down with its gear ratio. ?

Yeah, I don't understand why folks worry about the fit. The frames are all the same! It's gear ratio that may need adjustment.

OBX comes with 32" tires, would it really need to be re-geared for 33"s?

I realize stock tires are a different profile tire than if you went with say, 33" KO2s.

If I stick with OBX the 4.27 or whatever you can option in for will be fine.

and what would that gearing (4.27 or whatever) do to the stock tires?
Cruising on the highway at 75 MPH:

32" tires
3.73 gears = 1926 rpm
4.27 gears = 2205 rpm

33" tires
3.73 gears = 1868 rpm
4.27 gears = 2138 rpm

Thank you, pardon my ignorance.

It's the amount of lift that provides extra clearance....the Badlands is lifted to fit 33s. It is an open question as to whether stock non-badlands suspension would allow for 33s to not rub.

A 1/2" increase all around the tire will most definitely fit. The tire width is a whole other thing that we need more info for. I don't want to look good but not be able to turn. Lol
