The guy in the video said it had a Sasquatch suspension. It is sitting low because of the winch hanging off the front and extra weight overall.

There's now way that's going to hold up to any serious off roading. I've been off roading a lot of years and there' not nearly enough clearance between the tires and the fenders. There's hardly any room for wheel travel there. If Ford's excuse is that the vehicle is load down, then Ford should have modified the suspension to give it the proper amount of lift for ride hight. Right now there are a lot of people looking at this bronco and cool SHOW Truck, but is not really going off road.

No doubt. It needs stiffer springs to run that set up. Most of the time when you add a winch to a stock set up, you need stiffer springs anyway...at least I did when I added one.

Can someone explain why they would mount the Ridged lights on the portion of the bumper that can be removed and not on the bolts adjacent to the winch. The only reason I can think of is they just won’t fit with the factory winch In that location.

From re-reading the release from Ford, this Bronco does not have the Sasquatch package, or at least it not mentioned as one of the installed packages. Which wold explain why it like those 35's are stuffed under there. I believe Ford said the Sasquatch package adds about an 1 and a half of lift.

It's be nice if Ford could confirm whether or not this build has the Sasquatch package

New Bronco Overland Concept Underscores Ford’s Off-Road Brand Accessories Game at Largest Bronco Enthusiast Gathering

TOWNSEND, Tenn., Oct. 7, 2020 – In honor of the largest North American gathering of classic Ford Broncos, Ford revealed a Bronco Overland concept to kick off this year’s Bronco Super Celebration East in Townsend, Tenn.

Based on the all-new Bronco four-door model, the concept will be on display at the annual off-road event alongside the all-new Bronco two-door and Bronco Sport 4x4 models to give fans a chance to see the only domestic all-4x4 family of off-road SUVs in the metal.

With personalization and factory-backed accessories essential to Ford’s all-new outdoor brand, the Bronco Overland concept showcases how the all-new Bronco two-door, four-door and Sport models are designed to help redefine the next generation of off-road vehicles.

Based on a 2021 Bronco four-door SUV Badlands™ series painted in Area 51 color scheme, the concept is fully equipped inside and out to take adventurers farther into the wild. It features the High-Performance Off-road Stability Suspension (H.O.S.S.) System with Bilstein® position-sensitive dampers, 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine with class-exclusive 7-speed manual transmission, with 17-inch Fifteen52™ Turbomatic heavy-duty wheels in asphalt black and 35-inch BFGoodrich® LT315/70R-17 mud-terrain KM3 tires for better off-road traction.

Up front, the Bronco Overlander concept features a Ford Performance by WARN® winch mounted to a Ford Performance modular steel bumper to help adventurers negotiate tough, rocky terrain. A heavy-duty two-person tent from Yakima™ and a factory roof rack are mounted to the roof rails with a 1x40 RIGID™ rack-mounted light bar and six additional RIGID POD lights in a 360 configuration for improved lighting all around. A tall CB antenna is mounted to the rear bumper.

The rear is setup to be the center of basecamp and includes an ARB refrigerator, cooking kit and stove mounted to a cargo management system. The refrigerator has a slide-out tray for easy access, while a tailgate table and chairs complete the campsite. The rear quarter window glass has rigid panels with MOLLE grids mounted inside for additional rear cargo area storage.

because the marketing guys thought it would look 'better' this way and that many will leave the modular bumpers in exactly this configuration.

I think this has the Sasquatch suspension Or at least a preproduction version and ford made a basic overlanding mistake and didn’t upgrade the suspension for the added weight of the gear and accessories.

If that’s the case the marketing team needs to do some training with the designers and engineers. I can just imagine the guy that designed the bumper looking at it and thinking WTF are they doing. I personally think the interior mounted light would look a lot better with or without the winch.

I think you were asking about cargo cage/security option behind back seats and I spotted a vid walk through that shows this:

I wonder how easily this setup comes in and out? Obviously it doesn't do any good being in there if you need to fold the seats down and put something larger in there. But it's definitely nice to have the rear cargo area locked up.

I still find this a bizarre placement for it.

The light might be too deep to put it there.

i'm imagining the concept marketing guys were given a vehicle and instructed to do something with the available aftermarket stuff by 'yesterday'

Did anyone who is there look at the back of the rear seats in the new overlanding rig to see if they are carpet or vinyl? I can’t tell from that still from the video. Just curious if this interior is any different than the 2-door black one.

Yeah, I saw that. The video from The Bronco Nation said it has the Sasquatch package but if you watch the official unveiling video and Q&A by Ford they don't mention Sasquatch. That's why I was asking.
