an insider has confirmed the length of the 4-door broncobronco to be 16'. after doing some estimates based solely around the length of the overhangs on the spyshots, i have found that the wheelbase would actually be closer to 124", as opposed to the 112" everyone currently believes.

Ewww. :stop:

That's nearly as long as a crew cab pickup. (Ranger is 127")

Does that mean we were all wrong and the prototype is rolling on 44" tires too, despite what the sidewall says? :turkey:

or, maybe, the bronco is actually 15' long, which would make the wheelbase 112.

I’m gonna go with this. This would make the Bronc a little smaller than a JLU which seems accurate based on the prototype

If the 4 door 16 feet...then the 2 door will be long enough for rear seat to be big enough for big kids.

Sweet.

Unless we were off on the tires, my calibration scale is nowhere near the 17.5 feet we are being told. Nor the 16'. It's more around the 15 feet from what I am getting.

that is not how that works...

an angle distorts everything proportionally along the same direction...

Not the case, as the tire would be at the same angle and perspective.

The only thing that would matter is the distance from photographer and the object at an angle relative to that angle. Additionally, using the rear tire if it is the point further away would create an overestimation, not under.

looking at the pictures of the mule, the wheel/door proportions look very close but a bit longer than the 4Runner. Maybe 6-8 inches, which would be closer to 116-118 inches (closer to jlu). But overhangs much much shorter, more than enough to make up for increased wheelbase.
Either way, we’ll find out soon.
