Sadly I'm 5'-11" on a good day, and I still think it's too small.

Everyone says well if it's not every day you squeeze someone back there you are fine. I just don't buy into that thinking, if I put big(ger) people back there 4 times a year, I'd still like the extra space. Not like me complaining will change it, but it's how I feel on that matter.
The room should be adequate. I’m 6’3” and I think I’ll be alright. My kids are still “little” but my 5 year old is really big for his age. He dwarfs the other Kindergarteners and he only turned 5 a few months ago. My 9 yr old is average height but I might assume a growth spurt any time as he’s about 4’8” and I think the little one is around 4’ - 4’2”. The older one weighs 74 lbs and the younger one is 62 lbs. I just want them to be able to sit there for years.

‘68 or ‘69 when collapsible steering columns were mandated along with head rests?
It was Standard No. 204 at the beginning of '68 for passenger cars but not until '81 for SUVs and such(multipurpose passenger vehicles) that limited rearward steering column movement in a crash.

I wish they could have made it look more retro, but I want to feel protected from the constantly growing horde of idiots on the road.

I knew it was sometime in the late 60s for cars. When my daughter turned 16 we looked for a 69 or newer mustang for her. She ended up driving my Avalanche.

I do like the trim wheels of the past too, but like living through a wreck even more.

This guy asks the shallowest questions. Every question is about something we already know.

anyone else notice him flip open the (plastic?) covering for the door electronics?
I wonder how waterproof that is?
Does jeep have a similar covering?

Gotta fit an airbag in there
Yep, no way around that one with a modern car. Another reason for the huge flares, license plate holder on the bumper, Ford has to make these cars road certifiable in all states.

This brand manager actually comes with the vehicle. Whenever your friends ask about your Bronco next year, he just hops out the trunk and does a walkthrough ?
