When the reveal happened and we got our first glimpse of the design...I fell in love with Area 51. In the months since...pics of the A51 Sport and other A51 pics left me underwhelmed and Cactus Grey took the lead.

But then this picture dropped and I haVe to admit...A51 looks incredible here. I can't wait to see high res full pics of A51 now. MORE PLEASE!!!

This looks like the old Sears Service Vehicle colors. I do dig it though.

Was there in person today, A51 is amazing.
How does it compare to the Jeep Anvil color? I wrote off Area 51 initially because I didn't want to get virtually the same color I've had on my Wrangler.

My favorite Area 51 picture.
Love the Sasquatch look and don’t mind the soft top at all.
the other pics of the soft top haven’t looked great but maybe they are getting it more dialed in now.
Also like body colored door handles.

Here is my anvil hood it looks similar to Area 51 in the Picture (Hood is indoors). I can also agree with ATLBronco75 that it is a bit bluer but still very close to anvil. I’m assuming you know how many shades anvil can be in different lighting, I get the same feel about Area 51. You would like Area 51 if you like anvil, but if your considering cactus gray to not “match” it ended up being much more gray in person. I was set on cactus gray but left the show set on ordering Area 51

Agreed I was shocked by CG and A51. CG was completely disappointing in person and A51 blew me away. I was only considering the 4 grays and after seeing them in person if I wasn’t getting A51 I’d get Iconic Silver instead of CG. The metal flake in it was extremely bright and it almost looked like polished stainless steel. Really cool in bright sun.

I haven't seen the Anvil color in person but from the pics it looks close. Still similar to Toyota's Cavalry Blue but lighter. Definitely darkens in shade and lightens up in bright light. These shades of blue don't shown dirt much at all, so if you don't wash your rig very often it would be a good choice.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this somewhere else, but did anyone notice the tailight sequence (vertically) at 0.21?
Hopefully it’s just the leds messing with the Frame rate of the camera. Looks like the left Taillight lights up from top to bottom and the right goes from bottom to top. Also the third brake light didn’t appear to light up.

This video definitely confirms my A51 choice. Kind of off topic, but did anyone notice the tailight sequence (vertically) at 0.20?
I thought that was just the housing catching the light when it comes out of the shade

I hope the steering wasn’t at full lock when driving out, if so the trail turn assist is a must even for mall crawlers lol
Does anyone know if the Sasquatch package also limits the steering range to prevent tires from contacting frame or is it fixed by the added offset?

I too was in love with CG but after seeing the Area51 It changed my mind quick. Such a beautiful color, I have a picture somewhere that kinda shows how it looks
