When I bought my F150, I'm pretty sure the v8 was standard and the eco-boost cost more. For the 2020 F150 it is about $2000 more for the v8, so I would pay about $2000 more for it. My EB has a 302, so why not? Do not throw a chair at me, though, okay? :)

Would I be off base saying I feel Ford will bring the price of the Bronco in line with the Ranger 4-wheel drive prices. In line meaning that it will probably be a bit more because of the full top, but not a lot more because they are using the same platform for the Bronco as they do for the Ranger. One thing I haven't heard is how many trim levels the Bronco will have.
Levels right now: Base, XLT, Limited, Platinum, Raptor. Five (5)

I think the Bronco is going to start in the mid 30s and quickly go up from there. I am guessing that most sales will be in the 45-55 range.

2020 Explorers start at $37 and go to $58.
2020 wanglers likely average in low to mid 40s

The 5.0v8 Coyote is a $2k upcharge over the base 3.3v6. The 2.7v6 Ecoboost is also a $1k upcharge over the base engine, and the 3.5v6 Ecoboost is $2.6k (plus a trim level worth of other ****).

I'd probably give close to $3k to have the 5.0 back in the Bronco, at a XLT trim level, over the hopelessly underwhelming 2.3i4 that the Ranger is getting.

Ford can blast the **** out of some little Ecoboost engine to give more HP and torque under ideal rating/testing conditions, but I really don't want anything under 3L for the sake of durability and reliability.

As another example, and STRICTLY as a pricing example, (I am not rooting for a 7.3 over a coyote or any other option...) the 7.3L is $2045 option on a base XL F250 ..... that is about the amount I would be willing to pay, maybe up to $3k,
That is the type of optioning I would prefer regardless of which V8 is offered. Give me the option to get any offered power plant at any trim level.
I mean, for christs sakes, you can get the 6.2l, the 7.3 or 6.7 in a absolute BASE F250 XL 2wd, certainly the same type of optioning can happen on the BroncoBronco/Ranger platform? If not, it should be that way.

Because of the dollar amounts posted in the poll probably assume various trim levels, I can only vote for the lowest amount listed..
I cannot tolerate that type of corporate fuckery....

Depends on the V8...if it was the 7.3l I'd pay 3-4k as long as it was a stand alone option and wasn't attached to a trim or package. 5.0 eh. Love it in the mustang, but I'd be fine with the 2.7l in the Bronco in that case.

It won't. Can't even get 2.0 in escape anymore (17 was last year) without going Titanium. That's the new Ford.

I'd say a 2k premium for a V8 would be reasonable in my book.

If you get the Coyote the Bronco will definitely not be a mid size vehicle. The Boss 429 is the only engine thats wider that a Coyote.
So what you're telling me is the smaller 7.3 is more likely. It is shorter and narrower than a coyote 5.0.

LOL
