Those things can be solved via other methods that don’t involve a trip to Austin. Ordering a first model year vehicle is going to have some unknowns. Currently there are a lot, but we are also several months out from ordering. When it comes time to order, configuration issues should be ironed out. Many details will be unknown, but I think some of that is the assumed risk of being a first year buyer, sight unseen.

How does this push delivery "father and rather away?" Delivery is still scheduled for the Spring; and June is in Spring. Doing it as close to delivery as possible, is more helpful, than doing it months and months before delivery. Hell, I think this means Spring is even more realistic, since they are doing it through May. You should be encouraged, by this.

This is a point that many seem to be overlooking. If it's built as a 21, many are going to end up with a year old new Bronco that will have already depreciated below what they will be paying for it.

I'm the Bronco Specialist for my dealership. I'm on the forum everyday looking for new information. I also have my reservation in. I cant speak for others but I take pride in my product knowledge. My GM just told me I'm going! He was shocked when I knew what he was talking about. I told him I saw it on here lmao!

I guess your straw man April buyer shouldn’t put in an order if their questions aren’t answered to their satisfaction. ?‍♂

I would still lump that person into the buy, sight unseen crowd. No cars delivered, no contracts signed, no obligations of any kind.

If said buyer is so worried about what model year they are going to get and weighing resale due to it being an old model, perhaps ordering a new model during unprecedented times is not right for them.

Additionally, as the foremost Bronco expert in this post, I am telling you to order a 2021 regardless of when it gets delivered. It will be labeled a model year as deemed fit by the Ford Motor Company. Hope this helps.

The dealership training is gonna be a carbon copy of the thing we get to do as buyers and it may not even happen cuz of COVID when b and p comes out they will do bronco training for that there are no specialists and the “specialist” is just going to come back and teach everyone else my gm is gonna be the one who goes to Texas IF it happens and if he decides to and u can bet ur ass that as good of a job he does and as hands on as he is he isn’t gonna be the guy answering every single question

You must have missed the sarcasm about the Bronco expert. I'll use the /s next time.

You don't sign a contract, make a downpayment or determine financing until the vehicle is ready for you to take ownership. If you do, I have a great deal on a bridge if you are interested. VIN (and subsequently model year) are assigned well before that point and well before any financial institution is willing to quote you on rates or what amount they will loan.
