TBH if Ford could adapt the Tim Cook Apple launch and manufacturing strategy, everyone would have Broncos on day one and they would spend less than 10 days on dealer lots. But instead we get... whatever this rollout is...

I'd wait this out, unless there is timing involved with that Texas Group Buy. We've seen things evolve over the last 1-2 weeks, I'd hold that 1 time change until you absolutely have to make a decision.

What plan applies to family members of retired employees? My dad worked for our small town dealer for 49 years. Hard to believe, I know.

Did he work for Ford Motor Company or for a Ford dealer? If it was a dealer I don't believe there is a retiree plan. Z plan is for retired FoMoCo employees.

The more my head processes this news, the more I believe the X-Plan is open to reservation holders, but not on dealer stock Broncos, or future reservations.

How did you derive that?

Either going to switch dealers or skip out on the Bronco. It's starting to become a pain in the ass process.

It seems pretty simple
We build it, then receive it based on our reservation numbers
I think it's probably most painful for those here hour after hour hoping for some morsel of news. It may be good to step away a bit and gain perspective

The shame of this...is that x plan kept the dealers honest....that was as important as any discount it offered....doc charges and mandatory add ons will go crazy....let the sheep shearing begin....thank goodness we still have choices...unless Ford comes up with a way to destroy that....if that were to happen...we all would have to talk to ourselves about moving on
