Possibly the modular bumper with front skid plate

Shelf fold down thing on inside of rear door

Some sort of hard top since mine won't come with one for whatever reason ?

I'd like the lightbar down in the winch area, but not for $900. I'll buy a closeout from TRS first since it'll rarely be used. Just gotta avoid cheap ones that yellow over time.

I would be very surprised if any accessories will be on the Build & Price.
They actually have quite a few for the Ranger, check it out. It will definitely be a reduced set of options from the alleged 200, but I think we will be pleasantly surprised.

I am thinking at a minimum towing, roof racks, various Yakima attachments, winch, some floor mat options. I think there are going to be a few off the wall things too like refrigerator and camping accessories.

give me a winch, a wrench, and wench. One to get out of trouble, one to take things apart, and one to get back into trouble.
You want a Ford Escort?

For those that live in Texas, keep in mind, 4WP has their annual Truck & Jeep Fest in the late May timeframe in the DFW area...my guess is Bronco accessories will probably also be highlighted in the next planned show...great savings at these events...all assuming COVID-19 doesn't shut it down like it did this year.

My number one concern is everything will be overpriced. $600 for a tow package isn't worth it. I asked the Ford rep at Super Cel East and he confirmed it's just wires and a bracket.

I'm getting a 2 door so that RTT would be great because I doubt I can sleep comfortably in the cab, but not if it's almost $2k. I don't want to finance a tent.

There's probably nothing that's a must have for me on their 200 accessories list (okay maybe that drop down table on the rear door... Unless it's some crazy amount like $200).

Half the fun will be pricing out their options, pricing out the aftermarket, and installing stuff myself over time.

Roof rack would be nice, but again, aftermarket might make more sense there because more options at a better price.

Good Afternoon. Lots of heavy stuff on the forum lately. Thought it might be fun to think about the "200 Factory-Backed Accessories" in anticipation of the B&P launch on Friday. ?

How many of the 200 can we name? Which is going to be the most expensive? Least expensive? Which is a "must have" for your build?

I'll start. I am really excited about the roof rack options and winch as I hope to do some overlanding.
Also interested in black bronco badge, audio upgrades (I'm not paying for the lux or high package), alternative antennea options, and cb radio.

I just went though the B&P for the Sport and I don't understand why the base is limited on accessories. Are we really going to limit accessories for the Base as well? Seriously, can't even add roof crossbar on the base sport among other things.... I guess I will just keep my money and go aftermarket for accessories.

RIGHT?!?!

Personally I'm thinking of going KC for lights because I can choose specific fogs. Wasn't confident that the Rigid selections would be defined.
Iā€™m definitely going aftermarket for KC lights for the nostalgia. My wife told me the only accessory she absolutely wants are ā€œthose sexy round LED KC lights on a windshield light bar!ā€ I love it when she talks dirty! ; )

In all seriousness Iā€™ll be going aftermarket to build out my overlanding #badsquatch for everything other than the slide out tailgate with the Gen1 Ford stamp on it since I wonā€™t be able to get it anywhere else!

My number one concern is everything will be overpriced. $600 for a tow package isn't worth it. I asked the Ford rep at Super Cel East and he confirmed it's just wires and a bracket.
Continuing to use Ranger as the example, the tow package is actually quite worth it from the factory.

Yes, it's "just" wires, but Ford put a strange canon plug on the 4/7 pin harness and you had to run it from the cabin back if DIY. It ends up being about $100 ish in parts if you wanted to make your own harness, and it's a longer span than pre-built harnesses (plus the plug difference). I also like the convenience of the 4 and 7 pin sockets they use, high quality, sturdy shield door and interfaces with their ability to disable the BLIS from the cabin when towing.

Then there is the frame-mounted hitch itself, the factory unit is very snug up to the frame and they provide a different bumper lower trim to accommodate the hitch. Universal hitches stick down an inch further (not necessarily a bad thing on Ranger with it's ungainly bed height, but you aren't buying a Bronco to ruin it's departure angles).

Also, since we want to be specific here, the Trailer Tow Package (S4) is only $495 for Ranger, i'm guestimating $450 for Bronco due to reduced parts content and easier wiring.

You aren't getting a tow package on Bronco for less than the factory is offering. If you want the capacity to tow (plus the additional bumper safety of the hitch to absorb departure hits), you'll want that town package.

Update: Here is a close-up of the Ranger tow package. Note the bumper notch to fit, and 4/7 pin plugs. You also get the 12v plug on the right with tow package which is an extra bonus and not mentioned in their literature. It was a "nugget" when Rangers stared being delivered and nobody could figure out why some had the 12v and some didn't. Not sure if Bronco will get that, but assuming so since it's the same harness that incorporates both.

Second edit: Looks like Bronco is a Class II hitch and Ranger is a Class III hitch, I would expect the price to be dropped due to that, and also the receiver will be smaller and less obtrusive.

I probably wonā€™t blow my load out the gate on accessories to be honest. I might get the tailgate or a couple items that might be good to have made my Ford. But Iā€™ll likely see what happens in the aftermarket world and slowly add things after feedback from others. Plus adding slowly is the fun on these rigs!
