I'm the one walking around outside in a blizzard in a t-shirt while everyone screetches "aren't you cold, how can you do that" ... but I still want the seat, steering wheel, wiper, block, and lense warmers. Sometimes it's -40 with a -100 wind chill and I don't feel like roughing it.
what a bizarre and contradictory way to live.

And the heating elements in the windshield under the wipers...So they don't stick. Like the 4Runner.

HEAT ALL THE THINGS
Yeah, that would be the wiper de-icer I mentioned. Apparently the new escape has it, does any other current Ford?

Aviator has washer fluid outlets along the entire blade of the wiper.

Interesting. Not quite as useful as the heating elements where the wipers rest, but better than nothing.

I thought some of the Focus performance versions offered seperate winter tires and rims. Not sure that would be needed on the BroncoBronco, but maybe our Northerly neighbors and countrymen run them.

I run winter/summer set ups on both of our cars.

I have every intention of getting a set of dedicated, studded winters, yes. A lot of A/T tires have the mountain/snowflake rating and they are passable in the winter, but still nowhere near the grip of full on studded winters.

I’m outside Calgary, never felt the need for studded tires here. We get enough chinooks to generally clear our roads pretty good.

Yeah, honestly for just driving around town or on the highways I would probably never bother, something like a BFG KO2 has decent grip. But for driving quick on snowy/icy forest roads, or for something like the Alcan rally that goes up to Alaska, gotta have those studded Hakkas. To say nothing of ice racing.
