I'd like for it to have a Hand Leaver (center console area & expecilly this with a Manual). Second choice would be Electronic.

I don't like the idea of electronic at all, I rent vehicles weekly for work and I hate the electronic breaks in the newer cars. It's just not natural to me.I'm really really really hoping for a real hand lever parking brake. I hate the idea of electric, especially in a manual transmission offroader.
Does anybody do foot parking brakes any more?
it is useful for twin sticking and trail riding, but that will (likely) never be a possibility on a newer (RWD/4WD) vehicle just because of the custom work and manual components it takes. But...if they put in the option to run FWD/RWD/4WD with the T-case then it may be worth looking into doing the custom dual e-brake again.I don't really care about the brake. I'm just commenting because I think it's hilarious that people are discussing emergency brakes on a Bronco. :cwl:
well, if it has that, then ignore all my shit above, that does the exact thing that you twin stick and double parking brake for.I think think it will be electronic, and I would not be surprised to see this featured show up:
Especially since the indicator light looks very similar to a button on the Bronco Dash:
I think anything with an electronic parking brake and a manual transmission also has a hill hold assist as well to help with that, the vehicle will automatically prevent you from rolling backwards on hills.Even with the Turn Assist, there are times (with a manual transmission) that you'll need one foot on the clutch and the other on the gas and (ideally) one hand on the Hand Brake. Yes, this is a Manual Transmission vehicle issue, as a vehicle with an Automatic would rarely if ever be in situation that would benefit from a Hand Brake.
