At least they are knocking the full msrp 1895 off. If i really want the painted modular roof, I could buy it as accessory for the same price and end up with 2 roofs and I'm not out anything more than what I would have spent at the time of purchase

If so, I can live with that. Just get the MIC painted black to match the bumpers. Way less than 1850 bucks!

What is Fords problem. This may be the end of my reservation. An unpainted textured plastic roof is unacceptable on a $60,000 rig.

I *might* be okay with it if instead of forcing that shitty plastic roof they just gave us soft tops and shipped the modular roofs when they became available.

Great question! Since they are lowering the MSRP by the retail price of the modular hardtop., maybe just have 2 hardtops? One standard to we get our whip ASAP and use the discount to buy the modular when it is ready. Then sell the standard top.

This makes sense to me. If this makes cost the same, why not?

It sounds to me like they are refunding the full purchase price. Therefor you could buy it at the end of the year. And then sell the MIC top it came with to a Badlands owner.
