No. The MIC top still is removable. 3 pieces instead of 4.

Most likely by time FORD starts delivery of the 2-door Broncos next Summer, Bestop will have a convertible top available for purchase. So ill probably just go that route.

A top delete option on the 2dr would be cool too.

I get it that the MIC is basically free, but it's also useless for the 2dr if you intend to go soft year round.

Maybe I'll make it into a doghouse.

Nope.

MiC is 3 or 4 pieces depending on doors.

The only thing I might be worried about with the MIC top is it turning to chalk in the sun like I see on every Chevy Avalanche truck on SoCal roads. If that does happen, paint is no big deal.

One thing is clear, Ford should've waited until next year to release the Bronco properly after this lackluster roll-out. They essentially weren't ready for manufacturing.

I don’t think this is necessarily the case. During the pandemic there are so many supply chains that are disrupted, but there are also others that are perfectly fine. It seems like everything at the plant is going well, with prototypes rolling off the line. The problem is that for the most part, Ford makes: Body, frame, engine/transmission. And assembles it all. My guess is that the plant itself and bodywork/drivetrain is pretty much ready to go as soon as everything is in place, but their suppliers for EVERYTHING else are struggling right now. The first Broncos may be focusing on just getting wheels out the door, but the options will come online as the suppliers get their shit together with covid.

Think I am going to switch to Cyber Orange, Badlands, Lux, Squatch, 2.7, Auto, MIC top and get virtually the same deal on the Wildtrak with the discount and not have to worry about getting a new top. I can't complain......

I am probably going Silver/Gray*

* I like Gray more than Grey even though they are the same color.

All models are affected. There will be no modular tops on any trim. They just specifically mentioned the FE and WT because the modular top is standard on those.

Guess i'll be rocking my soft top until I can order the mod top. Hopefully it's something we can order directly from the supplier instead of through ford.
