I spoke with my local Line-X dealer and they recommended not using white. They stated that the Line-X texture captures dust will change color over time.
Yea, spoke with mine as well. 1,900-2,200 psi with a pressure washer, some degreaser and an RV brush and you're back in business.

Remember, I stated line-x pro, not their standard coating..... Drastically different texture.

@Headsong Thanks!

Yeah it is entirely possible. Facts:
-White will stain easier, but as @Rick Astley said, simple green and a good medium bristle long-handled brush works fine. I've done several in Desert Tan (a very light color), some of my own in fact. IT stains, gets all mildew-y looking after road grime. Simple green and that brush, and a bit of elbow grease and it's fine.
-You can DIY. At minimum I recommend Raptor. Some 2 part urethane based liner.
Prep is key. It must be sanded/scotchbrited very, very well. Cleaned up with wax/grease remover or at minimum- alcohol. Raptor kits come with the "schutz" gun to spray it with. Conventional or HVLP guns will not spray it. Do it OUTSIDE on a nice day with temps at least 70 degrees.
-It is durable.
-Does not add much weight. People will tell you it adds 80 pounds or more. It doesn't. It may add, on the heavy side, 10 pounds.
-Tape off all rubber seals. Tape off the inside perimeter of the top and only spray the outside. Before spraying you can take some paint and spray the cracks, edges, and seams nearest the seals so that you aren't trying to get the material in a 1/16th wide crack and running it. Plus it allows you less heavy buildup where surfaces mate. Done it like this forever, no issues. Average thickness of the coating is about 1/8" thick. So it you have joints with less than that, you will not want to coat heavy in those areas because it may interfere with proper fitment.
-Cost to DIY including all materials should run a couple hundred bucks. Cost to get a shop to do it should not exceed $700 for a 4 door Modular top, @$400-$500 for a standard 2 door top. If it does, you are getting hosed.
-Adhesion promoter is NEVER a bad idea for a bit of insurance.

Good to know, I was quoted $400-$500 by local body shop.

I like Wimbledon White as well, but I want the wheels to match. So if Fifteen52 or another wheel manufacturer can come up with a cream/white option, I'll try to match the color on the top and flares.

I emailed https://detroitsteelwheel.com/
to see if their powder coated gloss white wheels equate to a specific brand/paint code. Their white looks a little more creamy than bright white. Leno used their wheels on his 1968 but the link below doesn’t say color for the wheels or the top

Update: attached is the response from Detroit Wheels.

What a great thread. Why wait for Ford? Love the idea of Wimbledon White. This photo is my goal. I’ll start with a BD and Race Red. I’ll probably buy the OBX race red fenders because IMO black flares take away from the white although I don’t mind mirrors, rock rails, bumpers in black. (White fender flares are cool too, just not my thing) I think red Bronco lettering on a white grill will look awesome and will remind Bronco fans of the red Ford lettering from back in the day. I’ll probably just paint the stock steelies white but I do love the Detroit steelies but I’m not sure they make 17” rims that will fit the BD. I’m debating buying from Ford Parts a Shadow Black Modular hard top and painting it white (I realize I could be waiting months and months and $$$$) because it seems like with a shiny modular top it will be easier to match all of the white elements with the same paint. Either that or a road trip to North Carolina for a white MIC hard top with bed liner. As LEGEND says, we do what we gotta do!!!

Hi, just curious what is in North Carolina that can set you up with a white MIC hard top with bed liner. Is there a specialist company here (note I live in NC so am very curious...). I have a different dilemma than the white hard top. Like so many others, was disappointed that there will be a wait for the optional black modular hardtop and prefer that over the grey molded color. Thus, if some guys can do white then they can surely do black! I may go ahead and order and have it painted soon after delivery.

This guy is on the forum and he paints lots of Jeep hard tops. He gives advice if you want to try it yourself but also charges to do it himself. I think he uses Line X pro but I would ask him yourself. It’s been awhile but the photos of his work look incredible.

It looks like there probably will be no white top for model year 2021. Like many others, I will either wrap or paint my top white. Have any of you decided what shade of white? I was thinking of just using the Oxford White that will be on the 2021 Bronco.
I agree, except it probably won't be a wrap. The Black Modular top that they won't let us have, was smooth and painted. The MIC top that we have to accept, is a rough surface, and will likely need to be cleaned/degreased and shot with LineX, or blasted and painted... or left Gray.

has anybody tried this stuff ( from Canada , Eh?)

https://getsuperwrap.com/shop/

or is it just a Plasti-Dip clone?...they show a "roof" application ( done on a MB sedan in gloss black) ...based on some you tube videos superwrap uses many light coats compared to Plasti-Dip "heavy/wet" coats...might be a option for us white top guys???
